I don't think Cav can win it. But Petacchi could.

There is just 7 points between Thor and Petacchi. Thor will need a plan B..plan A failed..he has no speed |

Yeah, Thor this year is more like what Boonen is now. Less sprinter, more classics style guy.
He could be back soon as a top sprinter though, time will tell. Also, if he puts all his attention on Paris-Roubaix next year, I think he can win it.

Boring to watch, fell asleep around km 80 and woke up 30km later. Wanted Kiryienka to win since he's one of my favorite riders, but it's not like Paulinho didnt deserve it either.

Not that suprising that a rider, who has not trained for sprints since last june is hurting in the sprints. He broke his collarbone, and therefore, he has not trained sprints before the Tour. And then I mean NOTHING.

I made dinner. Showered. Took a crap. Ate dinner. Picked some navel fluff. Stared into a wall. And then there was 40 kms to go.

There was cycling on TV?
I only saw a tourist ride where the 'winner' had an average speed of 34 km/h |

Sorry, i don't believe this. There's no way he'd get the places he has been getting without training for sprints at all.

Have you never watched cycling in your life?
It's a Grand Tour transitional stage. They're all like this.

Put this together :
Hard climbs
Sore legs
Headwind
6 guys break
Mix it together and then you get your 34km/h average. |

A portuguese has won! How can that be anything near boring?
I love Paulinho. A really humble and dedicated guy who works his ass off for his leaders all the year. Besides all that he still manages to make the best out of his chances in the rare ocasions they appear. Amen Sérgio, amen!

The low speed meant that in Australia instead of finishing at 1:30am as it was scheduled to, it finished at 2.30am. That was really inconsiderate of the riders. |
