The climb is 14kms long.
The only section that's actually steep enough is between 6 and 5 kms to the finish. Expect attacks there.

That crash looked kind of funny. Bye bye, Armstrong. |

hmm, Armstrong looks surprisingly relaxed and calm. I think he might be happy that it's over and he can blame the crashes for it. |

I think the earlier Radioshack thing was hey other teams help us out here!
I think Rogers and Le Mevel was there for example. |

And his fanboys will believe him, but the fact is that he was in no way hurt at all by either of the crashes.

Oh look, it's the guy who insults everyone.
Did you see the crashes? Anyone who saw them can easily see he's not hurt. No one would be hurt by that. He just doesn't have it.
And even if he was hurt, crashes usually affect you a lot more the day after, and especially two days after the crash. Evans crashed very hard, has a cut leg....and oh look, he's right there at the front of the peloton.

Actually, scrub that last comment.
Armstrong is screwed! A big moment for sure, but premature to put Evans in jersey. But it looks good for him here. Hesjadel is another to watch out for here as well.

Can't wait to see if Lance will tuck his tail between his legs and work for Levi the rest of the Tour. |

I completely agree with you that Armstrong doesn't have it, even the most hardcore lance fanboys can see that.
But you can't possibly know the extent of his injury, judging from the tv screen . I would say he's dropped from a combination from the crash, chasing back on and bad form, mostly the latter. |

Fuglsang dropped as soon as the climb gets steep. No surprise there.

What's Birdsong's excuse today?

It only gets REALLY steep between 6 and 5 kms to go. It's actually one of the easier climbs. Right now they're on a 4-5% section I think
EDIT: No, you're right, it's steep already.

His downhill, otherwise no one would have noticed him on the last climb. |
