Hmm. As in you can move it everywhere but not place it? In that case you probably haven't made your route, only the roads.
If you have made the route, try moving the line along the route. When it "lights up" (becomes a little brighter) you can place it. That would also give you an idea of how much road and route needs to be behind/after the start/finish. |

How is "audio commentary" in "profile features" working? Do I need to do sth there if I want some commentary at start or, for example, 10 kms before finish? |

The audio commentary is for the introductions at the beginning of the stages. |

Since in PCM 10 we create a stage based on a road network and not the other way around as we used to in PCM 09 and before, maybe it's an idea to create area's on wich you can "draw" several stages.
For example, you could create the whole island of Mallorca and draw all races that are there easily in the same map. This way all races get the same look and feel and there's no need to create parts twice.
I'm currently working on the region of Zeeland in The Netherlands, where are quite a few races. In this map you can even use the 6.6 km Westerscheldetunnel and the 5.0 km Zeeland-bridge.
One quastion that pops up: can PCM 10 handle these maps as they've got a way larger road network? |

Is it possible to change amount of laps on local circuit after adding all checkpoints? How? |

Hi guys, hope you can help me
I've made my own 10 day stage race (mountains and tt), but somehow in 3 sims I ran Boonen, Cancellara and Ballan each came in infront of the likes of Evans, Klödie, and one of the Schlecks (forget which) on my mountain stages. Only one of the stages seem to work in the way that climbers win it, but only by a couple of seconds in front of whichever sprinter has the jersey from the prologue and sprint-stages. I know the obvious answer is make the mountains harder but it's already alot of altitude and i don't want the race so seem more unrealistic.
So, why does Boonen win my mountain-stage?
Thank you.
EDIT: Note, that this is only a problem when I sim the race.

It's probably the way you put it in the DB
Paste here the DB line for one of the mountain stages that isn't working. It could be a few different things.

Do you set the right fk_Id_relief (must be 4 for mountain) and gene_f_mountain (between 0 and 1, for mountains more to 1) in STA_Stage? |

Im 95% sure it can handle a larger area at least geographically. its capable of fitting (all? most? of) the Zealand island into one editor map. I guess it boils down to how much RAM all those unused roads and forests you would keep in every stage file you make.
EDIT: To actually answer the question, there's no real knowing until you try it out. Please do report back on it.

actually i think i might have left out the last one because the numbers were frightening so thanks i think that might be it.
but how do I know if it's 0.329378 or 0.7041724 (examples)? |

The last one indicates how much the hill stat matters or how much the mountain stat matters.
0.5 each matters the same.
0 the hill stat matters 100%.
1 only the mountain stat matters.
That's your answer

The editor also comes witth the answer, actually. If you use the Open Stage Data function, you can find the needed info. |

Another thing is:
I can't figure out how to make the mountain finishes give out mountain points. As it is now, it gives points towards the green jersey (and i have selected mountain finish in the stage editor). |

That can be changed by opening the files in Cyanide/PCM/Classifications |
