Nope. What is suggested is that he started with a motorised bike, then changed to a regular bike from 57 to 45 km to go, then switched to his motorised bike with new batteries with 45 km to go, and attacked on the Mollenberg (44 km to go) and on Grammont again. |

That makes sense, because one set of batteries wouldn't have been enough for the entire race. |

Danish former rider and current coach Rene Wenzel says that he already experienced a motorized bike back in 1979 at a six day track event.
Willy Debosscher used it in a round of elimination, he says. When the others found out what had happened, they wanted to kill him
Anyway, he says that he, at first, was not suspicious of Cancellara, but the fact that both UCI and Riis deny it as much as they, saying it doesn't exist at all, makes him a little uncertain. If it existed in 1979, why wouldn't it (possibly) exist today, he says. |

And if they weren't denying it, it'd seem like they admit it. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. |

There's a difference between categorically denying the existence of motorized bikes and saying that your don't use them. |
