Le Tour de Langkawi Stage 7 Report
Heading into the last stage for a long 7 day tour Deignan had wrapped up the KoM Jersey with no mountain sprints today, and a very short 80km route. So today looked like a nice day to reflect back on the tour.
A couple of breaks tried to get away but we did our part to reel them in, and everyine was in the peleton with 20km to go. But the road to the finish was anything but normal ...
A crash right beside Deignan was a major scary for the team, and Deignan quickly moved to the front of the peleton after seeing that. The reports after the crash concluded that none of the favorites had been taken out.
But soon after one on the top GC riders did go down.
Deignan was now looking at a 4th place finish if he couldn't catch up back with the peleton in 8km. As soon as Deignan got word Volgondy had gone down their was another fall.
Everyone was on their toes now, team managers were frantically try to figure out who was gone to the pavement. Luckly when your reports came in, nobody from your team had gone down. The sprint was on.
Then Volgondy pulled in ...
No Export Again, But I did Do this Instead. Hope You Like.

Trust me if the game wouldn't keep crashing before I get to the export button I would post them like a have done before. Going to turn the graphics down for the next race and see if that works. For now writing them all out by hand wouldn't be worth it. Hope you keep checking into the story.

Vuelta a la Region de Murcia Stage 5 Report
Lovkvist comes into today with really nothing to worry about if the team does there job and Lovkvist stays out of any crashes. We hope to see Daniel Martin attack on the final climb and see if a stage win could follow.
Breakaway had 16 riders and at one point one rider in the break held overall 1st in GC on the road over Lovkvist when they had a four minute lead over the peleton. Aftering seeing that we put in our effort to make sure Lovkvist keeps yellow.
And by the time we reached the final climb the breakaway was a minute ahead in could be seen by the peleton at such a steep climb, 8.9%. And Martin attacked ...
Lovkvist sat in the front and waited for any counters, but none came and he watched Martin go for the win.
And with 5km to go Martin was in the lead group with still a minute over the peleton where Lovkvist was now certain the yellow jersey was his.
Great ride by Martin gains him 46 seconds over the peleton and jumps him into 8th overall.

Other News - With all the great results today you probably didn't notice the absent of Harrison Neil in the results. After a unoticed fall he dropped out of the race to the team car, and went he reached the doctors we got word that he had sprained his wrist. Recovery was been set to mid April. But we made no more race for him until late April so none of the race line-ups will change. And hopefully he returns on time.
Interview - Thomas Lovkvist
Q: Great tour win, what is next for you?
A: Well since the team didn't get accept to the Milano-Sanremo my next race will be Criterium International at the end of the month, and after that Giro del Trentino with my Swed buddy Gustav Larsson, should be fun.

Omloop Van het Waasland Stage Report
We hit the cobbles for the first time in our team cycling career, so we hope we can just come away with the experience without any injuries. We hope.
Our Riders -
Getting on the cobbles for the first time ...
Early Breakaway.
And the first victum to the cobbles, with a flat tire.
But he was not the last ...
Luckly are hope was strong as our riders dodged ever fall and with 5km to go everyone was in the peleton. But as we hit the last cobbles their was an attack, and we sent Peraud to counter.
But Peraud just couldn't handle the road and quickly dropped back into the peleton, as the attack fought their way to the finish.
Stage Results -
Interview - Jean-Christophe Peraud
Q: You showed a small burst but the cobbles ate you up. Do you think you could have keeped up the road was flat?
A: I'm not quite sure, but I would have given it my all.

EA-Sony Ericsson Press Confernce
After the few weeks off for the riders we are nearing the end of March. During the last week we would just like to address a few updates to keep the fans informed of our progress in cycling. To start I would like to say that we have kept strong tags on our riders over the two week break and we can proudly say we are keeping cycling clean with no dopers (Training Camps). Our riders have yet to have major jumps in stats yet but that is mostly due to the staff we can maintain with our small budget. Next I would also like to talk about the other side of your staff, the scouting. As mention before we have found what we beleive to be a future great in Jimmy Licina. And over the break the first U23 race was held, and Licina was in the race. But surprisingly withdrawed from the race when we looked up the results. Our scout was not at the race and since we don't have the money to sponsor him we can't gave an explain on the withdrawal.
And lastly looking towards tomarrow the team will be competing in the Criterium International. With what looks like some tough riders ...
Ours riders will be as followed -
Richard Ackerman
Christophe Anziani
Douglas Arnold
Thomas Lovkvist
Daniel Martin
Jean-Christophe Peraud
Anthony Skene
That's all for now stay tuned for the results of Criterium International, and for the rest of the season.

Criterium International Stage 1 Report
A nice flat stage to start the 3 race tour was anything from an easy ride. With wind gust reaching 65km/hr riders were moving all over the road and we were luck to avoid crashes today. But gaps were changing every 5km and new groups were forming. Which suggested a breakaway could have a shot at the stage.
Like I said gaps and groups went on all day but by the time we reached the 20km banner there were 4-5 riders up front but a crucial final climb before the finish.
And at the top there were a few more gutsy attacks including Daniel Martin.
But the wind got the best of him and shortly after was back in the peleton, but not ...
Efimkin and ...
Joly, but he was quicly taken over and finished 3rd but ...
Efimkin held on. Martin and Lovkvist were our only riders to finish in the peleton today as the wind got the better of everyone else.
Stage 1 Results -
Interview - Daniel Martin
Q: Just not enough energy or what?
A: Well, I guess you could say that. The wind was pounding all race long and I told the team before the race I would attack then, ... and I wasn't going back on my word, so I went. Because I'm set on helping Lovkvist tomarrrow on a hill stage. So if we can keep Lovkvist with the leaders tomarrow we got the ITT for stage 3 were Lovkvist can contend for a win.

Criterium International Stage 2 Report
The crucial short hillly stage before the stage 3 ITT. Our team is looking to put Ackerman out in the break to get KoM Points and to keep us from chasing, then at the end try to launch Martin and Lovkvist to see if we can get a stage win.
Ackerman does as told but the break does have problems keep a consent pace.
He does pick up some points along the way but shortly after the attack the group is brought back.
Ackerman sits on the front of the peleton with a little amount of enegy left, and at the base of the 3rd climb he gives it one last go for some more points.
Setting a counter for Aerts, and Ackerman just barely keeps the peleton for a 2nd on top of the climb.
Ackerman was done for the day and was dropped to the back, and Aerts wass quickly caught and the peleton continued down the rode leading of the next 20kms.
Then we saw our chance to break the peleton near the bottom of the final official climb ...
Daniel Martin shot through the peleton with no followers and he had created a stir behind him.
Grabing the KoM Points and had a 45 second lead with 20km to go. But behind him were strong charging ProTour teams. And Martin was easily caught under the 10km banner.
All was calm with 4km to go as the riders crossed over the river heading up to the final incline to the finish, almost too calm.
LOVKVIST ...
Nobody saw it coming, and at full strength he looked unstoppable.
As Lovkvist turned around the 1km banner the sprint was on up the hill, luck for him Contador was not entered into this race as it was a perfect finish for him, and probably the only guy in cycling that could have beaten Lovkvist today.
Lovkvist cross the line bring home his 5th win of the year, but also strings out a 13 second time gap. With is going to be huge with tomarrow's ITT.

Interview - Thomas Lovkvist
Q: Great win, 5th of the year, any comments?
A: Wow, can't beleive I already have five wins this early into the season. Other than that great work by the team today. Ackerman did his part and my buddy Martin toke all the pressure off me when he forced the other teams to put hard work in to bring him back, and they just didn't have any gas left to go after me. This win should go out to the whole team not just me.

Scouting
Our scout has come back with the recent U23 results. After looking through the reports there is really only race report that stood out to us ...
With a incline at the finish, Jimmy Lucina is showing his future great potential. Yet we are the only team to have scouted him out. After this result we feel there is no more need to wait for more U23 results to put together a contract with Jimmy Lucina.
Circuit Sarth-Pays de la Loire Reports are coming soon.

Circuit Sarth-Pays de la Loire Stage 1 Report
Our Riders -
The first race in April is a nice flat ride to start off this 5 stage tour. Our line-up is not very strong but maybe Talansky can step-up and win a sprint.
Breakaway looked strong all day, and for some reason the peleton just didn't feel like chasing them down. At one point they had a 8 minute gap.
Peleton finally decide to take some action after going over top the second to last climb. But the break still had a 4 minute lead, with a climb right before the finish.
By the time we had reached the final climb the breakway was already on the other side, something had to be done otherwise the breakaway would have an easy win. So we let Peraud make a gutsy attack to force the peleton to pick up the pace, and if they didn't Peraud would also gain some time.
Peraud quickly caught up with a tired Le Bon and was on cruise control heading towards the finish, the only thing in his way were the charging sprint trains which had to pick up the chase.
And with 1km to go could Peraud hold them off ...
Nope ... Peraud just couldn't beat the sprinters to the line. He does finish 5th with his effort.

Interview - Jean-Christophe Peraud
Q: Did you think you had the win?
A: I'm not going to lie to you, so yeah, I thought I had it in the bag. I just underestimated the power of the sprinters. Dang they were fast, I had a 45 second gap heading into the last 2km.

Circuit Sarth-Pays de la Loire Stage 2 Report
Peraud looks to stay in the group and prepare for the crucial ITT for tomarrow that could shake up the standings.
The breakaway ...
Wasn't real a factor as they were caught with 20km to go, but the wind was.
As Peraud and Talansky get lucky and hop in with the sprint trains and avoid the split with the main peleton.
And shortly after had taken over the front, but Peraud's lead out was just to soon as they started to slip back into the sprint trains with 3.5km to go.
And when the sprint let loose Talansky again just isn't in form.
But Peraud and Talansky earned a 1'03'' time gap over the main peleton.

Q: Just not in form, or what?
A: I guess you could say that, ... I just can't get the gears flying like the other sprinters, I mean Peraud was keeping up with me, I need to fix this.

Sorry I have to take another week for the story because this is my last week of school and I have exams. But after this week I got nothing planned for 3 months exept for a couple of vacations. So no reports this week but the story is just on a little pause before it takes of again.
