Awesome! Love to seem Lars winning obviously.
Must say it was a rather good course for him. Uphill+cobbeld right after the start and low average speed.
He should now hang to to all of his jersey for as long as possible Hoping for a windy stage now with Rabobank doing the same trick as last year

According to Dirk Demol Steegmans crashed at 75kph. Ouch. |

Issoisso mentioned something about a mini-typhoon? |

Yeah, a gust of wind swept Steegmans away in a downhill |

When Peter Sagan makes such a impressive reult in a time trial, you better consider him for the overall. He wasn't even among the best time trialists in U19. |

nobody is paying attention on Rodriguez's 19th place. He can make something big at this race. |

Peter Sagan is super young and probably the most suprising rider so far this year.
I mean, he didn't even rate as TT specialist at junior or espoir level, he sucked at them. Now he already did well in other stages this year, but now 5th in a prologue is pretty much "wtf"
Liquigas seems to have a neck for superduper riders. Nibali..Kreuziger, now Sagan |

i think you cannot say who is going to win paris-nice now because many riders showed a good condition and the last year showed what can happen to a leader..

1 word.
Contador
He will win this, he's head and shoulders above the rest.

For me, Jens is the winner. He had to tackle a lot stronger headwind during the last kilometers than Boom. I also think the wind partly explains the good times of Sagan, Tondo and Mangel. Pauriol though, was very impressive. |

Speaking of Jens, i think he could have saved a second on his time if he had bothered shaving this week...

Good to see grand old Jens come back with a decent performance. Doubt we'll see anything as exciting as last year's flat stages but I'll be crossing my fingers...until, as Ruben pointed out, we reach the mountains...and Contador wins. Boring!
And to anyone who think's he can be beaten just like last year...unfortunately not., he wont make that mistake again |

The problem is that Saxo Bank's not competing in Criterium International.
Issoisso referred to a Voigt quote yesterday which was pretty funny, but I can't find it right now. |

"Kim Andersen told me in our training camp that Saxo Bank won't send a team to the Critérium. So I told him that I'll just go by myself: the first day I'll hide in the peloton, the second day I'll attack and for the TT you don't need a team anyways. He said that was a good idea but that unfortunately you need to send a team of at least 6 riders. So maybe I'll apply for an independent license."
