sure they will. but not the whole stage otherwise it would be a 5 hour transmission...
which is even more boring considering the only thing that matters about today's stage is the sprint finish...

if they had a mountain stage on day 1, everyone would refuse to ride...
tuesday is the first mountain stage. and even then that's incredibly early.

here's the funny part about today's stage:
if I drove there, I could see them racing just a few meters in front of me. while being in a different country
(spain starts across the river...I could be on the bridge looking at the end of it )

fastest finisher on each team (meaning: guy that teams will bet on for sprint finish)
AG2R
Alexandre Usov
Bouyges
Aurélien Clerc
Caisse d'Epargne
Joan Horrach (not that he has any chance)
Cofidis
Leonardo Duque
Crédit Agricole
Angelo Furlan/Mark Renshaw (depends on form)
Discovery
Allan Davis
Euskaltel
Koldo Fernandez
Lampre
Daniele Bennati
Liquigas
Francesco Chicchi
Quick.Step
Tom Boonen
Rabobank
Oscar Freire
Milram
Alessandro Petacchi
Relax
Ángel Vallejo might take part. but most likely no one.
Française des Jeux , Gerolsteiner, Predictor
no one. not that some aren't fast. just none who would risk a crash to participate in the sprint.
Andalucia - Cayasur, Karpin-Galicia, Saunier Duval, CSC, T-Mobile
no one

no idea. others were involved. Cunego looks pretty beat up.
rodda wrote:

no chance. unless someone important punctures and the bunch waits. like Boonen in the 2006 Tour.
