Vuelta a la Region de Murcia stage 3
So, the deciding stage. I'm not hopeful of a win but a podium would be nice.
But it looks like our expectations were too big. Even Meyer beat Zabriske, perhaps we hoped too much.

Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen stage 2
Dean is listed as 1 star favourite today
Sorry but no pictures, the came crashed.
With 10 to go De la Fuente fell with some others and Astana told some riders to fall back to lost time with him.
Van Summeren and Maaskant took Dean to a good position with only the eventual winner in a better position but he didn't feel like it taday.
Firts 4 are dutch

Vuelta a la Region de Murcia stage 4
The deciding stage.
VandeVelde and Zabriske will try to finish in top10.
Anton and Roche tried to get away on the first hill but they were caught on the descent.
There were a lot of attacks on the second hill but our guys dind't feel strong enough to follow so we hoped that the group came together.
After the top Plaza and Scarponi were ahead of group with Sanchez and Klöden. Boom attacked on the downhill as no team seemed interested in making pace.
VandeVelde and Z were isolated and tried to reel in the break themselves but it was no use.

The stage seemed unimportant so I simulated it but like always PCM didn't correctly judge the cobbles distance from the end.

Paris Nice stage 1
Millar is not on form as this is his first race of the season, but hopefully he can get a podium on the stage, Meyer has a lot more races in his legs and could get a decent result.
Our main men for other stages are Farrar and Kessiakoff.
11. Alejandro Valverde +14
He did ok, possibly a serious competitor for averall.
14. Alexandre Vinokourov (Astana) +17
The kazahh is not on his top speed.
23. Michael Rogers (Team HTC - Columbia) +22
Most likely still resting
28. Kim Kirchen (Team Katusha) + 25
seems like he is still way off form but Ardennes are a way off too
6. David Millar (Garmin - Transitions) + 12
He did great for his form, he also got to enjoy the lead for some time.
58. Fredrik Kessiakoff (Garmin - Transitions) + 33
We didn't expect much
3. Stijn Devolder (Quick·Step) + 10
He is obviously preparing for spring classics.
24. Svein Tuft (Garmin - Transitions) + 23
10. Thomas Lövkvist (Sky Professional Cycling Team) +14
Not up to his level
7. Vasil Kiryienka (Caisse d'Epargne) +12
A very good time, too bad he must most likely work for Valverde.
Freire is here for stage wins
2. Frantisek Rabon (Team HTC - Columbia) + 5
He is strong but the tt specialist is on form at a strange time
9. Cameron Meyer (Garmin - Transitions) + 14
A good result for him
Steegmans is one of few top sprinters to rival Freire
37. Rein Taaramäe (Cofidis, le crédit en ligne) +27
Looks like the young Estonian has different aims
Greipel
5. Laszló Bodrogi (Team Katusha) +11
A fairly decent ride I'd say
42. Tyler Farrar (Garmin - Transitions) +28
16. Jens Voigt (Team Saxo Bank) + 19
I will be rooting for Chuck Norris
McEwen
1. Christophe Moreau (Caisse d'Epargne) 10'40
The man of the day, this was a surprise
15. Alberto Contador (Astana) + 18
El Whatever doesn't care about winning P-N this year
8. Tony Martin (Team HTC - Columbia) + 13
Hushovd
4. Edvald Boasson Hagen (Sky Professional Cycling Team) + 11
Young guy is doing well, he has god chances to get into leaders jersey

Paris Nice stage 2
First real stage of Paris-Nice. Farrar is amongst top favourites with Hushovd and Greipel.
C.Meyer was in BOTD and got some points but it was never a threat. Caisse defended Moreau's lead and the break was reeled in with 30 to go.
Our train with Millar-Fisher-Farrar is on the right side and leading but on the other side Hagen's (Sky) and Freire's (Rabo) trains are very near.
Henderson (Sky) was a lot faster than Fisher or Langeveld (Rabo) so Farrar took Hagen's (Sky) wheel and Freire (Rabo) went on his own but neither had a chance against tha Norwiegen.
EBH did very well and is only a second behind Moreau thanx to his good TT performance.

Paris Nice stage 3
Another flat stage and we will try to build a train again.
There was a break but without our riders, it was caught with 20 to go.
Somewhere in the middle Barredo had a puncture but he was helped back.
This time we had a good train. Millar-Fisher-Farrar were leading with 3 to go, Greipel (HTC-Columbia)-Hushovd (Cervelo)-McEwen (Katyusha) behind them. On the right side Nuyens (Rabo) was leading out Freire with O'Grady behind him and on the left side was Henderson-Hagen (sky) pair.
With a little over 2 to go Freire went, Nuyens wasn't much of a lead-out and immideatly Fisher fell behind, Farrar swiched to Freire's wheel.
But unfortunatelly Farrar didn't have it today eather, he narrowly edged out Hushovd for 2nd.
Hagen missed his golden opportunity to wear the leaders jersey.

Paris Nice stage 4
Kessiakoff and Millar will try to improve their GC standings while Farrar is our wild-card if it stays together.
Fisher went with the break, he took the two first mountain sprints but then he had a puncture and never made it back.
With about 100 to go Kolobnev, Nuyens, Gerrans and Albasini tried sth, don't know what. Only the first 2 stayed away but where caught on the descend before the last intermediate sprint.
It was quite peaceful for a long time, if a hard pace by Caisse can be called that.
Then a little before the last summit Contador and Kern attacked, Millar and Kessiakoff followed. And they semmed to be the strongest as the flew past Contador and took the lead.
Contador was joined by Hushovd on the downhill, our guys not a lot in front.
Millar and Kessiakoff are smiling, they have the stage but they still push hard because the pack threatens to close the gap.
And we have it but Hushovd really scared us, his acceleration was really strong and made Millar forget he had just won a stage, he forgot to put up his hands. But unfortunatelly we didn't get a gap.
Still it was a strong performance and we will hope both our guys to challenge for a podium pace.
Farrar was deep in the punch just keeping up.

Tirreno Adriatico stage 1
So its time for Tirreno, we are not hoping much as our guys are out of form. Zabriske and Danielson might do sth in GC and Martin, Dean will try to get stage wins. Today is all about Dean if he's up for it.
T.Meyer was part of BOTD.
Monfort and Pinotti made a hell of a speed up the climb, all our riders were suffering, even those who should be able to do this. They really are out of form.
Still, Gilbert and F.Schleck tried to defie the punch but they didn't go far.
The sprint was really chaotic, Boonen had to go himself with over 2 to go but there were no other top sprinter near him.
But he tired in the end and was passed by 2 guys passed him, Westra took the win.
Forgot to export.
Breschel came from far, who knows what he could have done with a lead out man. Dean suffered on his tail and wasn't able to follow.

Paris Nice stage 5
Anything except a punch sprint is very unlikely.
Lowe tried to go away but failed so Hesjedal went instead, he got some nice mountain points.
He went by himself and managed to hold the lead thanx to his awsome downhill skill. But unfortunatelly he was not strong on other terrain, his breakaway companions cought him with 100 to go and soon left him behind but no matter, they were all caught with a lot to go.
Luckily he was awarded with KoM jersey.
With about 10 to go, Hushovd went down, luckily everybody escaped.
Millar-Fisher-Farrar were in a good position. Kolobnev-McEwen were next to us with Nuyens-Freire behind them.
We were in a great position but with 4 to go it all went bad, Millar started to lose position and with 3 to go McEwen and Freire started their sprint long in front of us.
Farrar didn't have much choice, he took the wheel og Greipel who was struggling to keep up with Freire, damn he's strong.
And he won with considerable margin, Farrar 3rd. Looks like we know who is MSR main favourite.

Paris Nice stage 6
So we have the hardest stage. Kessiakoff will try for a good place and Millar might also hold on to a good GC place.
Fisher was in the BOTD but he didn't manage to do much.
With about 20 to go, Voigt tried to get away, no one reacted.
And a few km later the leader Moreau attacked and passed Voigt who joined the peleton. Nobody Tried following him so we decided to wait too.
At this point we had all our cards on Kessiakoff because Millar had a bad day.
A little over 5 to go Kessiakoff went for it, he was followed by Vockler, Contador, Moinard and Rogers. We got a little gap.
The peleton started to reduce the gap and we were joined by Hagen !!!! Moinard put in another attack to tear a gap, we followed.
We made a train with Contador ahead of Kessiakoff and he ahead of others.
Moreau held on with a gap of over a minute.
In the chasers group it stayed like before, we were down on Contador and ahead of others. We got another nice podium place and rised to 4th in GC.

Paris Nice stage 7
Quite a hilly stage today. Kissiakoff will try to get a gap.
There were a lot of attacks. A big group including Lowe went away but was brought back with 20km. Then Fisher and Zubeldia went away. Fisher had trouble but he managed to hang on and get some KoM points.
Fuglsang was trieing to bridge the gap but was caught in no-mans land 2 to 3 minutes behind then.
Voeckler went alone with 40 left. Everybody seemed to be caught off guard.
Major attacks started with 30 to go, Millar and Kessiakoff tried their luck.
A group got away, Kessiakoff was with Hagen, Moreau, Moncutie, Lefevre. Kessiakoff had to make pace because others didn't seem that interested in it.
A little under 20 to go Hagen stabbed us in the back, after not working at all he attacked.
Others went on to hunt down Voeckler, we were left with nothing and total anguish.
I just can't believe it all went so wrong.
He braveli continiued but it was not so good.
10 to go, Devolder was countered by Millar and some others.
They reached Kessiakoff and Millar tried to help him, Moinard is the guy in front.
And Voeckler managed to hold off Hagen and Moreau.

Clearly we are not happy, we made a big tactical error but we are also quite angry at other riders for not helping us.

Tirreno Adriatico stage 4
Big Z will be looking to make a good footing for tomorrows tt.
BOTD had Wegman, Mandri, Sagan and others.
Z and Danielson managed to get in the break with 14 to go.
Our guys and Armstrong were following Pozzato.
5 to go, Cunego, Boonen, Gilbert bridged the gap.
Pozzato still in front, Boonen goes after him, the Katyusha rider who joined is Rodriguez.
Unfortunatelly Z had a hard time, 1.5 to go, Gilbert passed him, Cunego was way back but tried to get over.
Gilbert was really strong and got a gap, nice win for him.
And to add insult to injury, Pozzato was also passed by Cunego.
Armstrong brought in the main group
There were gaps in the group too but maybe we can get to podium with the tt, win seems impossible.
Forgot to export, sorry.
