That's a PCM problem. I believe you have to edit DYN_news (you need to delete the news message to be able to progress) and DYN_team_race (to pick your riders for the WC).
Thanks for the help so far. The news event was easy enough to edit out, but I was unable to fix the problem completely. The rider selection page remains blank in the national team screen and I have no riders to choose from when I reach the race.
I tried modifying the block with my National team with the correct raceIDs for the Worlds by adding the appropriate riders, but it hasn't affected the savegame at all.
When I get the WC races, there are no riders to choose from. I can get by the event, but I'd rather race it. Any tips?
[Edit: I am able to race both WCs, but I'm not able to select my riders, so it's basically a random selection of 1(ITT) and 2 (Road) riders from my Nat Team--weird, but at least I could race it. I'll leave this up as an interesting DB problem if anyone has a solution.]

Mutschgi: You can't use the editor that comes with the game with this DB. You need to use the Full Editor V4.
DJP19: I'm talking about his suspension in the DB, not in real life.
Pep: You're in the FAQ thread. Did you try reading the 1st page?

Hmm, other than the DYN_team_race, also try to edit DYN_cyclist -> fkIDrace and DYN_cyclist -> fkIDnationalteam. I'm just guessing here, but it might work.

I'm at the second stage in de Tour de France, and there isn't a finish. I know this is known, and I must change a name in CM_Stages. Add finish_flat or something. Where must I add a name? I know, at the stages without a finish, but there are different documents for these stages in CM_Stages.

CM_Stages is in Program Files/Cyanide/PCM. You need to open the Tour stages with Notepad. |

Hello all, I have crash problems. At the end of each stage, the game crashes. Just before the podium and sometimes in race. I have a very good PC, I don't think it could get from my PC.
Crash during Tour de France 2010 or race from season 2010, very frequently.
How can I fix the problem ?

Lower graphic system ? it's not normal... I had not this problem before. For example, with Electrozenshu DB I had not crashes during races, before podium yes but during race no. It's odd (??)

just do what he says please it will end up better. crash on high gfx or playing it on lower gfx and working fine. hmmm what to choose.

Here's one: I have a rider with high stats, good form, and no weather mismatch, but on one particular day (Stage 2 of [2011] Catalunya), he is greatly outmatched by other riders of mine and the AIs with lower stats and fitness. Any thoughts?
He is strong on other stages, races, etc. I have played multiple times and his lack of performance is constant regardless of his daily luck (+3, -2, whatever).
I can always go back to an earlier backup savegame and work around it, but still . . . very odd, no?
[Edit: I fixed the issue by editing fitness_i_handicap in DYN_cyclist.]
