Cancellara has won PR.
Cancellara has won TDF flat stage and Milano-Sanremo.
Cancellara has won TDS(even with silly mountains)
Cancellara RIDE ALL 3 TOURS OF 2009.

How long have you watched cycling? By going thorugh this thread it is shocking how little you know.
Contador is not the best time trialist in the world... He beat a tired Cancellara who has worked his ass off for the Schlecks with 3 seconds.
On a time trial bike the riding position and technique is much more important than the strength of your legs, this is why Contador is a good time trialist. A road bike on the other hand, needs a lot of power to have larger speeds on the flats. Because Contador hasn't got anything near the raw power of Cancellara's legs he will never manage a stunt like Cancellara did in 2007.
Contador is not a good sprinter either, he lost to Colom . He is capable to win a mountain sprint, but thats climbing ability and acceleration. In a sprint between Cancellara and Contador on a flat road Cancellara would crush Contador
Saying that Cancellara is poor on cobbles is about as far fetched as saying that Contador can't climb. You are not poor when you have won the Paris Roubaix. As mentioned before me: Cancellara was just back from injury when he rode the Northern Classics.
This is by far the most irritating thread I have read this year |

How is Cancellara's results not consistent? IMO there is a lot bigger chance that Contador is going to get caught doping than that Cancellara will |

Well, can you mention 2 TT's where Contador has beaten Cancellara? Cancellara didn't participate in Paris - Nice 09, by the way. |

The last tt of the 2009 tour is less relevant in terms of overall TT skill - recovery is so much more important late on a Grand Tour, and obviously as the top Grand tour rider that is one of Contadors strengths.
Even so, Contador only won by 3 seconds. In Monaco, Cancellara beat Contador by 18 seconds, and Beijing the gap was 1 minute and 18 seconds

Your examples are again unsatisfactory, flawed, specious etc.
How many times must we tell you? Cancellara was not at Paris-Nice and did not win the final Tour TT because he does not have as good recovery skills as Contador - Let me reiterate: take the times when they were both together racing at either a single stage race or at the beginning of a stage race (cancelling out effects recovery) Beijing Olympics TT and Stage 1 in the TdF (as pointed out by a countless number of people). Cancellara won and won well, no arguments, please. |

Not to mention in Peking Contador was clearly drafting behind Clements on one downhill.
And in the last Tour tt everybody said he had a more favourable wind and that the motorcycles were too close.
Edit: Oh and Cobbs are you a monkey. Stop repeating the sme thing, I think his posts should be considered spam.

Cobbs. When you go into an argument, you need to bring more ammunition than the same 5 arguments. Especially if two of them are wrong and useless...
