If you've been living under a rock you wouldn't know there's a big suspicious cloud hanging over Bruyneels riders.... always!
If anything comes of it (which it won't) then this would be a major step in cleaning the sport.

Unfortunately, I don't think any of Bruyneel's riders will be caught again.

I know it would but I am fed up of people outside of cycling sying it is just a drug sport. I just wish cycling will magically be fully clean. |

Tell everyone that their sport isn't clean, just cycling is doing something.

Oh well im gonna try and concentrate on the racing side and riding side of cycling now but that is hard when its the off season. But I am proud of cycling and the steps the sport is taking to get rid of the cheats. Roll on the new season Cant wait. |

I'm not sure that that's a good idea. The last time I tried that I almost got lynched (if this is the word). Oh OK not all of you live in Spain, but it's still impossible to convince other sports' fans about it. They need a Festina case. |

Here's a hint from a fellow Iberian:
"So many football players admit to having drug habits such as cocaine. So many of them admit to being on drugs for years and years. None of them ever test positive. Explain".
Then watch them flail around hopelessly for an answer.

Some might still be ready with a counter-answer being "how many is "so many"".

I can think of quite a few off the top of my head. But that's beside the point. Just ONE guy shows the controls don't work.

Hehe, I've tried that before. The answer: "Oh, that's what rich people do. But that isn't doping, and they don't take anything because footballers don't need to dope".
So they win, because at that point, I'm laughing out so hard that I'm not able to respond. |

Interesting.
And Sweden will probably host a Tour of Sweden in 2010. The stages sounded quite weird (all starting and ending the same place, at a velodrome), but it's a start
Reading I got the impression it was something for elite NE riders and not continental teams, might be wrong though. But the area it is riden (Dalarna) Is a very beautiful area, and is very hilly/mountainous. Would be nice to see this evolving into something bigger.
It is going to be name Eurosport Cycling Tour of Sweden, so their aim is to have Eurosport broadcasting it in 3-5 years.
Here is a map of the suggested stages.

The article I read must have been misinformed then, cause the listed all stages as starting on the velodrome in Falun. Seems like some nice stages. If Grönklitt is the same as Orsa Grönklitt then it will end with an ascent up to that as it is a skiresort just north of Orsa. Stage 2 ends in Idre which is below Idre Fjell which is also a skiresort so should end with some kind of ascent. Stage 3 ends in Sälen which is also a skiresort/city so should end with an ascent or some hilly stuff atleast as the other two other stages. The other two I don't know about, but this sure seems to be a very interesting race. Hope it will challenge Post Danmark Rundt as the biggest race in scandinavia soon
EDIT: could you link to the article where you found thoose pictures I'd like to read, I don't mind it being swedish.
EDIT 2: look who will be greeting the riders on stage 1:
If he wakes up that is.

@ursul: There actually is a bear park in Grönklitt, so he will be greeting them
