Frank Schleck will start all of these races as favourite, understandably so if you look at it on paper, but he will not go unchallenge. The likes of Boasson Hagen, Di Luca, Cunego, S Sanchez, Ricco, Rodriguez Oliver, Sinkewitz, Gesink, LL Sanchez and so on - plus oneoff appearances for Ginanni, Gilbert and Valverde, fresh from the Continental tour.

I really hope Rabobank can do well in Amstel, not only because a top 10 finish is one of our goals, but because it is our home race. Here's hoping Gesink can put in a great ride in front of his fellow countrymen.

I hope for podium on all these races, but that will never happen. Our main goal of the season is to win Amstel Gold Race. I hope we can do that, but I really doubt it, and if we fail that we will come up only achieving 3 out of 5 of the sponsor goals... 4 would definately look better on paper...
Too bad Ardila came in 2nd on the best stage in Paris - Nice. A win would've conselated my sponsors |

Not since Season 1 has Schleck won one of these. So hopefully this year he will change that

At least it's recognizing Cunego as my team leader, thats one good thing!
For the rest it sint that good, way too strong fields with the CT guys coming to take some points from us

It would be nice for Valverde to be able to win something this year, and LBL would definately be nice.

Great race and nice report.
Well done to Schleck at Amstel.
Vespa the only team with 3 riders in the Top 20.
Eurosport as usual nowhere. Can't believe the team doesn't have even one rider to challenge in either the hills or on the cobbles. Just a load of middling stage racers and Gomez Marchant. Cavendish too, I suppose. Wish he hadn't missed Qatar.

Hmm Sánchez looks tired. 8th here isn't all that good. This was a sponsor goal for us to win, and I really hoped and thought that we could get in top 3 taking back some points on Rabobank, instead we end up losing even more... |

Then again, I don't have any big expectations for him here, following the last three races. Sure he's listed a Cyanides' No. 2 favourite, but that and a hilly stat of 82 won't mean jack if he doesn't do anything.
Again, I expect nothing.
Edit: Didn't noticed Amstel was already up. Very nice.

Eventhough Schleck won

Of course we had to see not 1, not 2, but three pics of Schleck winning
anyway, I'm very happy with third. cant complain in such a strong field. Still, I'd hoped for Cunego to be my team leader... oh well, next two races should suit his MO stat a little more
also nice to see Posthuma and de la Fuente doing so good --> Teamprize |

SOoooooo, who said Sammy Sanchez was better than Joaquin Rodriguez Olivier? Sorry, who was it? I can't quite put my finger on who said that...

After third for di Luca in the Amstel, Cunego does the same in the Fleche. Another third in Liege and I'd be very satisfied with my Ardennes week this season. Of course, if I can finish it off with a win for one of my two top guns, that's be awesome!
Anway, Cunego started his points gathering month for real now |

And like a certain Giro win isn't enough for Cunego, he also had to keep Hagen off the podium in Fleche

Of course, now he 'only' has to do the same again in Liege, Lombardia, Japan, San Sebastian .... etc. etc. |
