Criterium International Discussion
SportingNonsense
i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu189/DailyManGame2010/PTRoutes/ptcriteriuminternational.png

The flat stage to start with should be relatively quiet - but it is wide open with Roelandts and Vantomme being the best sprinters on show. The hilly stage promises to be exiting and that mixed with the final TT should provide a mixture of those looking to gain on hills to limit their tt loss and those looking to limit their loss on hills and gain in the time trial. Just who is going to come out on top?

Go Rogers!

I hope for a podium at least in the TT, and hopefully he'll hang on in the hills.. but with only 71 hill stat...
oh well, we'll see.

*Thinks; Giro coming up...*

Hopefully Samuel Sanchez can get a rather big gap on the 2nd stage. About a minute or so. That should be adequate to finish on the podium...

first Pro Tour race for Jack Wolfskin. Maybe Cornu or Reus will be able to do something nice Smile

Well Reus is tipped 5th, so I guess he can do very well Smile

alexkr00

Yeah but only one rider can be captain I think Smile

With Zabriskie here, I don't count the chance of Hagen winning as existing. He could podium, but I'm just hoping to win stage 2, that way I should have a decent GC aswell.

Fine performance from Knees to take 5th in the stage.

Albert is the best when it comes to breakaways. 3 of 3 winning breakaways this year

Well done from Parra...

We didn't use any unnecessary energy today, which is good. Hopefully we will use a huge amount tomorrow...

Damn... Santambrogio should've had it there!

Well, Rogers and Posthuma did what I could've expected; stay in the pack. At least there wherent too many riders in front of the pack, so two rider in the top 10 should be possible after the TT.
With a bit of luck Rogers could even win the TT.

For crying out loud, why don't my guys just attack!?

I think 17 seconds will be too much for Gesink to overhaul in the TT, especially with a frenchmen in the lead in a french race. Maybe if it was longer than 10k, but since it is i think we will have to settle for second.

Bad instructions? Pfft

And yeah, stemple, that would normally be too much. especially because the 10km it shows, are always +- 8-9 in game, you'd need 2 seconds per km... and Chavanel still has 73 TT so...

SotD
That was a silly result. Samuel Sánchez should've easily bridged up that gap... 4th is decent though if he can actually keep that result...

SotD
That is one SHITTY result. How on earth can a decent TT'er lose 50 seconds on 10kms. 8th for Samuel Sánchez is NO way near good enough, and loosing shit loads of points on Wikipedia and Rabobank doesn't make this one bit better... We need to get a killer result in the Pais Vasco to cut back into the top. But first is Ronde where we will lose even more ground... Not good at all...
