The long Italian 'cobbled' sections and hills should provide an enthralling race where anything is possible - see Lhotellerie's win last season.

In contrast, Omloop Het Volk is a more traditional cobbled route and may perhaps give a greater indication for who will go well in the Big 3 cobbled classics.

hopefully Maes can help Burghardt to a few podiums in the classics. i think Het Volk will probably be more predicatable and give them a better chance.

Just finishing the race (5pts per rider) would be great for me |

Anything would do Eurosport here. Think there are only two riders with over 70 cobble in the whole squad. One of them is Cavendish. |

Hoping for as many Accumalux riders as possible to finish in each race.
And for 100% Me in Eroica, hoping for Blythe to beat as many PT riders as he can to stop them scoring points

Frederik Nolf will be given a free role, whilst I hope for Thor Hushovd to stay with the group going for 5th and worse places... |

Anthony Geslin in the attack exactly like he should be, He's my 3rd strongest cobbler, thus given the opportunity to do whatever he think is good to do... I doubt this attack will cause any real damage to anyone, but it might be a good thing to have a rider out front to help Nolf or Hushovd later on... |

Looks like I only have 2 men in the 50man pack, thus having to be Hushovd and Nolf. Good enough, eventhough I had hope for Nick Ingels to keep up for quite some time to eventually help out my 2 captains. Luckily Geslin can hopefully still be valuable in either doing the real shock or helping instead of Ingels... |

Ingels was amongst those dropped as the pack went from 50 to 34

Alright, still decent... 9 guys infront of the pack, having 1 there, 2 guys in the pack and one just behind it...
Should be able to get a decent result out of that if I don't get unlucky or our riders are just too weak in the hills... |

Not all to happy about my 2 Festina's in the middle of the pack. At some point it's bound to break and then they HAVE to be in the right position both of them, if we are to get a good result.
Geslin having problems following eventhough he is among the strongest hilly riders in that group, also gives a pretty weak indication on my team... Still, fingers crossed for a top 10 here... |

This is just a horrible way to do this. My nerves are fucked up hehe...
Still having Nolf and Hushovd in the now quite small pack. Geslin has been caught and now have to give his all to the 2 captains... And then we have to hope for a high pace giving the group a sprint, and Hushovd a top 5... Unlikely? Yes! Hoping? Sure do! ;D |
