Next to go, after Milan-San Remo, is Paris-Nice.
An interesting field with some good climbers.

I hope Ardila can do something. I don't expect too much, but top 10 is a must... And whatever he does beyond that is a bonus. Van Loocke and Brea for the sprints, meaning that I should be lucky to draw top 3s against Croket, Eisel, Serebriakov and Aulas. Should be possible if not the attackers gets the benefit though. |

I sent Duarte as team captain for this race because of the no-TTs (only 1 short prologue). Hopefully, he'll be strong enough to take a top spot in his first race for Philips! |

I hope for suprizes, like wind, crashes, punctures breakaways. Then I migth stand a chance of scoring some points here
I hope de la Fuente will challenge the KOM. He wont do a good GC anyway. |

Hope Perez Sanchez can keep the good results from last season. He's definitely a top10.

Perhaps I should have looked at the profile before sending Cancellara...oh well I should win the prologue. |

I actually the field would be better. It's not terrible enough though as Schleck seems hard to beat for Pluchkin, but a podium finish should be very possible, and maybe yellow after the prologue.
Edit: Oh, didn't see Cancellara was there

Plaza and Phinney, what a combo to send. I should, hopefully, without problems, manage to sneak into the top 10 with Plaza. Phinney should do ok in the prologue too - though that goes without saying.

Guys, the result is going to be the same as last year, Gesink standing atop the podium waving to all his adoring fans.

In fact Rabobank (formerly known as France Televisions) will be going for their third straight win in Paris-Nice. Alejandro Valverde (currently on loan to Santander) took the race 2 previous editions ago, then his teammate Robert Gesink took last year's edition.

I think you mistook when i said that he won the race 2 previous editions ago, with he won 2 editions. I am not sure what year we are currently in, but i am going to guess that we are the year 2010. If that is the case, Gesink won in 2009, and Valverde won in 2008.

Good performance by Pluchkin, let's hope the 13 seconds on Schleck turns out crucial
And great performance by Steensen in 12th!
