Is there any guide for new players how to play best? Or maybe someoene expirienced could post on youtube his recorded race so new players like me could watch it and lern what and when to do. I'm playing, I have read manual but still I'm not satisfied with my team efforts. I'm wondering is there one way to win or you have to treat each race/stage individually.
Best regards,
Peter |

Could someone explain me how excactly orange bar in sprinting (finish) works? As soon as I get to the 2-3 km before finish line, it goes drasticly down, even thouh I never click on "S" button. As I want to click it, it is already 2/3 empty and I have still 1-1,5 km to go. Other racers overtake me of course, and I finish in 20-30 mostly. My sprinters are not the best, but their stats are around 75 in sprints so in minor races they should be in top 3 I guess...

It goes empty not only when you're sprinting, but any time when you don't hide in someone's air corridor (you're simply getting tired of working in front of the group and cutting the air yourself). The only way to avoid losing the bar is following somebody and letting him do the hard work. Then in the last km, when you;'re in good position, you may jump from behind his back start sprinting. |

Regarding following.
Once the game shifts to sprint mode (ie when the orange bar appears) the follow indication (the ->S) dissapears from my riders. They still follow the rider in front of them, but the icon is no longer visible. At least this is what I expereince, it migt be that they actually aren't able to follow, but it seems quite far fetched that that should happend every single time.
What's the genreal opinion? I'm I the only one experiencing this? (and no, I haven't read the manual. Not yet.) |

It does disapear but if you look at the orange bar you see if he is still following or not. |

Ok great. Now another question. Most of the time, let say for the last 20 km all escapes are turned down by the peleton and all riders goes together. My leader and best sprinters are in second half of peleton. How and when I should start pushing them forward? Is better to use overtake symbol or dot and set pace for ex. 90-95? How can I use shield man to guide my best spirters to the top of the peleton? If my shield man is allowed to ride max 90 and my leader is allowed for 80 will the shield man slow down or my leader speed up (because 10 pionts is different between them)?

As far as I can see it the ->S icon tends to disappear if your rider didn't manage to follow someone wheel to wheel. He still rides behind him, still gets the cover and doesn't get tired, but I guess that the rider doesn't get that much of boost either in comparison to a successful following. That's why I always pause a lot during the finishes in order to maximize the chances of getting on someone's wheel properly.
That's just a theory, I'd appreciate someone else commenting on that. |

Since there is an indicator, i shouldn't have to look at the neregy bar and make a judgment in order to get information on weather or not the rider is doing what I told him to do. |

I don't see that the questions have not been answered in that post.
But who cares, here are my thoughts:
- Is is never to early to have your riders in the front of the peloton. The closer the finish line comes the fast the peloton is riding. So your rider might need more effort to go to the front later.
- I use the "short relay" to go to the front. If you set the % wrong, he might go backwards, so up the %. When he is near the front I go back to the "keep position".
- It does not matter if your sprinter is shielded. Just set the short relay to your sprinter. The shielder will keep protecting him, no matter his effort.
rontgen: He is following, I only told you to loook there so that you can believe me. An other proof is when the other sprinter is starting to sprint,. Your rider will also starting to sprint immediately. Why the symbol does dissapear I cannot tell, but I would say it is a bug rather than a feature. |

How can I withdraw my rider from the race and what are the consequences? Can he join next stage or he is out from the whole race? |

set him to zero effort (the .-> thingy).
Not sure about consequences other than that he'll be out from the entire race. |

Thank you.
Now about training. How fast stats can improve? I have good trainer, but stats of my riders didn't improve at all for 2 months... How many points of each can they get during a year? |

The improvement depends on the factor you have selected at the start of the game, the quality of the trainer in the trained speciality and of course the progress speed of each rider (which is not visible). |
