So after a mediocre 2008 , manager David Fornes decided to give the directeur sportif job up for grabs .
So on the 1st of January 2009 at the team presentation the new directeur sportif was presented his name was Setzel , everybody raised the eyebrows , nobody knewed who the hell is that dude .
David Fornes told the media he has faith in Setzel and a lot of confidence that he is the man that will change the team , and maybe promote to Pro Tour .

Info :
Fo the people who dont know the team main sponsor Agritubel, is a worldwide provider and manufacturer of tubular metal products for cattle, livestock and farming.
So the financial part never was a problem for this Conti Team , the team was founded in 2005 , and was invited to from 2006 to 2008 in TdF and all the big French races , we hope this year will be the same and we will make an impact on those races !

Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise
The first race of the season for us , and it's a hard hilly one , so we camed here with 8 cyclist.
Our objectives is simple , to get a man in the brake and keep lequatre and ravard in the front of the peleton for the sprint if the pack will be compacted at the finish .
First attack of the season for Vlauhy for PSK , of course maxime bouet followed him and with other 5 riders managed to form a 7 men breakaway .
The riders had a max of 6 minutels lead over the pack , but at the half of the stages the peleton was coming quickly behind them , they seemed doomed , so our first race , our first breakaway that didnt make 0-1 for now.
With 30 km to go Monier and Sinkewitz attacked , Huguet managed to follow them
Sinkewitz was the stronger man and went for a solo run with 20 km to the finish the pack was starting to make a hard pace so Ravard slowly dropped to the rear of the pack , our only chance now was Lequatre.
With 10 km a huge crash in the peleton that saw a lot of leaders go down , Lequatre and Jalabert our last men in front of the pack escaped the crash .
With 1.5 km to the finish Sinkewitz was caught , the sprint in the pack started Jalabert tried to bring Lequatre in front but he was tired and started to sprint way back in the peleton
WHO WON ???
Lequatre managed to grab a 3rd position because of the flat in the last kilometer and jalabert tooked 7 th , a very very good Grand Prix Cycliste de Marseillaise for us .
We had to wait like 15 minutes to get the official results ...so the winner is G.Blot from Cofidis
Stage Comments :
G.Lequatre : If the flat section was a little bit longer i would have managed to win this race i was the stronger sprinter remained in the front of the pack , oh well i will promise you that i will bring a victory for Agritubel soon.

Etoille de Basseges
Stage 1
A fast criterium we will try and stay in the front and not get into crashes.
Vogondy will be the GC contender and Feillu our main sprinter
A group of 18 man established for and worked together managing to have a maximum lead of 2.30 min over the pack , Bouet was there and he didnt relayed , he was there just to make sure the break will not make it
With 15 km the break was caught and the sprint trains where starting to form.
With 10 km to go a bordeur happened the leader of Silence Loto Gilbert was caught in the second group , they manage to come back and have the same time as the winner
Feillu was placed excellent behind Sentjens cutting van Avermaet from Sentjens train.
Sentjens was first Feillu and Arvesen chasing him with 1 km +
But from the back camed like a comet Jeanesson making Feillu stay on sentjens wheel and see how jeanesson passes him.
Jeanesson won , Feillu 2nd Arvesen 3rd
Forgot to extract sorry , and thank you for the encouragment i will try and update my story as long as i have time to play pcm
Romain Feillu : I was on Sentjens wheel placed very good but when to make my move Jeanesson camed from my back blocked my passing lane and forced me to loose speed that i cannot recuperate on the last hundred meters.

Thx for the comments guys
Now let's go to work
Stage 2 of Etoille de Basseges a flat stage we will try to get the kom Shirt and have a good result in sprint
A group of 16 went away Nicolas Jalabert was there , but the pack chased them back , Caisse thought they were to many to let them break free.
David LeLay went for the fist KoM points in this tour and won the first climb.
Pierick Fedrigo and Quemenuer tooked 1st and 2 nd in the second KoM check.
The sprint started Feillu was very well placed near van Avarmaet .
But in the end he just couldnt keep the pace with the others ...just a 4 th place for Romain.
Romain Feillu : I was in a good spot for the sprint but my legs didnt listen to me that was the max i could get today .
(Romain Feillu interview to L'Equipe)

Welcome to stage 3 of Etoille de Basseges and the hardest one.
We will try to get somebody in the break and keep Huguet and Vogondy well placed and well defended untill the last climb.
Nicolas Jalabert went for the Kom Jersey and he will finnally get it , because of his 22 points in the KoM rankings
Reneev tooked the 2nd kom by tricking jalabert accelerating in the downhill sector.
The break was caught on the penultimate climb
Chavanels attacks !!! and he is going going ....and left everybody watching at him .
Pineau attacked on the last climb , we decided is time for Huguet to follow him .
A group of 7 riders managed to get away on the climb , but look at jeanesson this dude is INCREDIBLE , he passed all of us and managed to get near Chavanel
On the downhill sector all 9 regrouped but chava sprinted and managed to win the stage in front of Jeanesson , Huguet tooked 3 rd , in the pack vogondy tooked the 10 th position and won the pack sprint , they camed with 37 s back.
Stage Results
GC RESULTS
My excel is making me a hard time not wanting to read the exports i wlll reinstall it and after i will start putting reports here.
Yann Huguet : It was a hard race , it was windy too , Pineau attack was like a gift send from heaven i just managed to keep his wheel and digged deep to stay with them , i manage to trick them in the sprint and grabbed a 3rd spot wich is great for me .

Welcome to stage 4
Stage perfect suited for Feillu we will try to place him on a good wheel , maybe our first win will come
First kom tooked by LeLay but reenev is there tomorrow we need to keep him out of the breakaways.
Second KoM , second win but reneev is stil getting points tommorow lelay needs both of the Kom to win the kom mailleu , after the Kom the pack caught the break
The sprint is coming Sentjens Van Avarmaet Blank Feillu perfect placed ...fingers crossed
1 km to go Van Avarmaet is sliping away , feillu must accelerate !
Van Avarmaet won 2nd for blank 3rd for Feillu , dissapointing he couldn't accelerate , i am really having troubles passing van Avarmaet in a flat finish we need an uphill finnish to win i think.
Romain Feillu : It was a calm stage today , the weather was good , in the end Van Avarmaet had the better speed than me , it was a good chance but tommorow is another day .
