Welcome to the presentation of Team BMW-Ubisoft. I am Michael Philips and will be managing the newest Continental team. As manager i had the freedom to choose the riders i wanted for BMW-Ubisoft. I have chosen for a relatively young team, with some older riders as mentor. Some of these riders have already been in a team togheter. This is our roster for the 2009 season.
Yes, i know that this doesnt look like the most clean team you can think of. But for those who still have comments, let's talk again when we have achieved these.
This are the goals we got from our sponsors. They are all German as our team resides from Germany.
The next announcement will be our jersey, our races for january and a meeting with the lead riders of our team.
Wish us good luck.
DB: PCM.Daily's Expansion (Final) + Portuguese Add-on
Difficulty: Hard

Welcome to our second presentation. Last team we presented our roster, goals and sponsors. This time the riders will be here at the presentation toshow our jersey, our calender for january and you can also ask them REASONABLE questions.
Here is our jersey.
Thanks to the team designer rasm for this jersey. Like you see BMW and Ubisoft are our main sponsors. Our clothing sponsor is Adidas, and the bike sponsor is Ridley.
Next:
Our calender for january: Tour Down Under, because we are a Continetal team we had to request a wildcard. And the organisation tought our team was strong and let us enter.
And before we leave, you all have the chance to ask all our riders what they expect of the season, why they joined our team, what their job is within the team, all reasonable questions that have connection to cycling or our team will be answered, all other questions shall be ignored.

The Portuguese Add-on database, it had Rasmussen, Vino, Kash and Sella as free riders.

Remember that you can still ask questions to our riders. They will answer it personnaly. This will be the last change you get to contact our riders before the Tour Down Under.
(Explanation: This means you can ask question to our riders and i will answer them from their perspective. Like a press conference. Realistic, isn't it? )

Question to Alexandre Vinokourov: It have been a lot of questions around your comeback and if you are a clean rider now, and if someone would even hire you. What do you feel about the rumours of you not beeing clean and the chance to get a new start at BMW-Ubisoft |

Question to Tony Martin/ Roman Kreuziger: Do you think you will gte equal chances to ride your own grand tour or will you be helping Rasmussen and Vinokourov and if so don't you think you would have been better off staying at your own teams and riding the grand tours for yourself? |

"Well, i am very thankfull for the chance BMW-Ubisoft has given me to return. I get the chance to race at a top level again with some old friends. I know i have been caught but everyone deserves a second chance, wright? Look at some other big legends like Eddy Merckx, he got caught for doping and is a legend now. And i can say for sure i won't make the same mistake again."

Tony Martin: "Our main goal this year is to try and win the Tour de France, our main leaders for that are Rasmussen, Kloden and Vinokourov. But that doesn't mean we won't get a chance in the Giro or Vuelta."
Roman Kreuziger: "Indeed, like Tony said our main goal for the team is the Tour de France. Ofcourse i also hope to get a role there. But my personel goal this year isn't the TdF. Altough a stage win and a good GC is always welcome."
Tony Martin: "And we will have enough other chances. Like Paris-Nice, Tour de Suisse, Tireno-Adriatico, ..."
Roman Kreuziger: "And besides, this team is awesome. We have only met each other a few times but we already get along very well. I have a feelin this is going to be a great season for us."

Is this your created team, if so how did you cover all the riders wages inside the 507,000 limt, because there are some highly paid talented riders there. Awesome team by the way. |

Thx, i did create this team. Rasm made a jersey, i made the mini jersey, logo, and a few other edits and then i added the team with the Advanced Editor. Because having a team like this is much more fun then a limited custom team. It stays fun aslong as you dont exaggerate it and in my opinion i didnt do that, because with this you could get all the big riders but then there is no more fun i think, and then all the realism will be gone. All the other teams still have their best riders.

Brice Feillu: "I am very happy that i can once again be in a team with my brother. Me and my brother hve a good connection altough he is a sprinter and i am more of a climber. I don't expect anything much of the GT's. My goals this year are the smaller hilly stage races, but with some good training, who knows?"
Alexandre Kuschynski: "Yes, i have talked about this with our manager and it's clear i will get my time in the cobbled spring classics, altough i still think i'm not quite good enough for Tour de Flanders and Paris-Roubaix, that will be something for Heinrich, Matti and Greg. Therefor im focusing on races like Gent-Wevelgem, Omloop het Nieuwsblad."

"Well, it all depends on what race it is. In a race like the TdF Heinrich or Matti will be the main sprinter. But in a race like the Vuelta or Giro i might be the main sprinter. It depends on what i focus and on what i will train this season."

"Due to good cooperation by me and Andrey, the UCI had changed the date of our ban. It ended at the end of the 2008 season. And does it matter? I am here now and ready to win!"

Question to Andreas Klöden: How do you feel about racing with Vinokourov again, who ruined your chances for a podium place in the 07 tour by testing positive?
Also what are your season goals?
Good luck with the story, keep it up |
