According to several Italian media (Gazzetta, Tuttobiciweb) Davide Rebellin is among the 6 positive cases of CERA at the Olympic Games. Today the IOC announced that six atheletes tested positive for CERA at the Olympica Games in Beijing 2008.
One of them is an Italian male cyclist, and according to the Italian media it's Davide Rebellin. However, the messages are still unconfirmed by official authorities. So we have to wait.
Tbh, I would be the least suprised about this. A few years ago they already found a caravan full of dope at his parents-in-law. But that was not enough to get convicted. |

Extract from the BBC article about the 6 positive tests:
The committee is in the process of notifying the athletes in question, though the Italian Olympic Committee has already said one is an unnamed male Italian athlete. |

Uhm no. You posted a very short message quickly, when I, in the same time, made this topic. I didn't copy anything. |

It's a joke dude. Cope with it
If Bolt tests positive, I'll laugh till I die.
But no chance of that, Bolt is a sprinter, and EPO's only good for long anaerobic efforts (for example, in cycling those efforts are mountains and time trials) |

Endurance sports, no doubt about it. Athletics, I'd expect. |

Sad news is (in the UK) is the fact that the cyclist has been named and we all know about the sports reputation in this country. "they're all druggies"

Having just remembered that Contador rode at the Olympics, I wouldnt mind that reputation so much if he is also one of the 6 |

According to Norwgian media 3 of the athletes are cyclists.

Let me just say a word on Usain Bolt: I dont care if that man is doped. There are some situations, where you just have to ignore common sense and pure sports and realize that running a 100 meter in new world record times is a pinnacle of human acheivement. Assisted or not.

That is true, but if he did it aided, then the record should be struck. |
