Surely Im not the only one who reads Harry Potter here?
I just completed the final installment 7 minutes ago, inside my deadline by 20 minutes.
Brilliant book, Brilliant read.
I won''t spoil it for anyone, but Ill put a warning anyway 
Possible spoilers maybe?

sorry if this is slightly off topic,
but do you guys find the books or films better, or both about the same.
as i read the first 2 books, and have watched the first 3 films and found the films better, but to be honest i think this is because i hate reading
i just wanted to know what you guys thought

yeah, sorry about that
i don't know, i guess i can just never be bothered with books, i prefer to watch rather than read, i have never liked any books i have read, but i guess that is just my personality, i don't like reading...sorry about that everyone
but it seems that everyone else obviously favours the books so it's an overwhelming, 4-1 count
oh, and just another little question, before i leave this topic alone for you guys,
has anyone here been to the castle where some of it was filmed, i think it is Alnwick castle. I went last Saturday as this Amercian girl who was staying with us was a huge Harry Potter fan, and i was very surprised that there were no 'HARRY POTTER WAS FILMED HERE' signs, in fact if you went without knowing the film was filmed there then you would leave not knowing also, other than a very small corner in the gift shop there was nothing.
i think Blackadder and others were filmed there as well

I hate the films, they are so unrealistic and cut 80% of the things...important things even.
Book 7 was brilliant, especially ..ah well |

Yes, it has taken a while to sink in, but it was absolutely brilliant, but that ending is a bit too brief for me

So you are just lazy  Always best to read first before movie...if you reed you can use your own magination how places look like..how caracter talks and walks. In the movie you just get directors sight of things...After first movie it was already little spoiled..you had already Daniel Radcliffe face in your head. |

I've only read the 4th book and saw all the 5 films that appeared, I honestly liked the book more but I'm lazy to read the others too. That's in my nature, sorry. |
