For the benefit of the trillion or so people who always complain they missed it every year:
IT'S ON SATURDAY. NOT SUNDAY.

the rights are too expensive for France Tlevisions, so, once more, won't be able to watch the race |

This will be good. First do 120km in the morning myself, then I will watch San Remo, perfect! |

Streams will do fine
I actually only watch through streams. The alternative is putting up with the horrible commentary duo on TV. what idiots

If, as is likely, it's the same course as last year (due to a landslide on the route), then the chances for a bunch sprint are somewhere between zero and zero, I guess.

For us, who live in countries which are not extremely passionate for cycling, streams have been our only source for a lot of races. Don't complain |

the thing is that in term of quality, tv is better than streams |

This one is impossible to call! There are about 25 riders who have a realistic chance.

Yes indeed. A lot of strong sprinters have a chance, not just Bennati. There's also Boonen, Hushovd and why not even Cavendish (although he has not yet proven he has the stamina for a classic race like this). Furthermore there will be a lot of riders who will try to evade a mass sprint as always. It happened often enough that an attacker won (eg last year). |

I stand by my prediction that the chance for a sprint if the Manie climb is still in, is absolute zero.
If it's not in, and it does indeed come to a sprint, I don't see Cavendish having the smallest chance in hell of being there at the end. Ciolek, on the other hand...

Ciolek can climb really well, i dont know why people constantly count him out when there are some fat hills involved |

Oh yeah, I forgot about Ciolek.
You're right, he's much more than just a sprinter. He's more an all-rounder like Boonen, Hushovd or Freire. No doubt Ciolek will one day also go for the win in the cobble races. |

zero I wouldnt say, but really small indeed. if there's gonna be a spint, it's gonna be a small group. say 50 riders max.
but rabobank is probably going to lay a bomb again, so that decreases the sprinters chances, seeing they dont have Freire... Maybe Flecha will finally get the big win he's been waiting for so long? Though, there are better climbers then him who can keep a gap untill the finish.
and no way Cav will hang on indeed |

Watching how things are going, i would say Ginanni is a possibility. Together with guys like Rodriguez, Rebellin, Ballan/Cunego and so on.
