Hi guys.
After the quite hectic launch of the V2, we've pretty much not done any work to the DB. However, the development of the V3 is soon going to start (next week, and therefore, it's time to come up with the suggestions.
If you've any ideas, feel free to post them here.
The main idea / purpose of the V3 is to 'polish it'. We will add a few more teams and races, but the main work will be done on what's already in the DB / game. E.g., we're going to add more nationality groups which will result in more realistic starting fields at races. We're also planning to add more scouting zones.
But as said, we're willing to listen to any suggestions |

Link the Trek LiveStrong Bike to team Trek...And change the TT bike from the red one they are riding now.
Levi Should have Amgen ToC as a favorite Race (if that is possible, not sure if the DB has anything to do with that)

thats possible, but it's be a damn lot of work to set 3 races for all riders, and do that realisticly. |

Some countries have all their continental teams in the DB except 1 or 2. Maybe add the missing teams for those countries so that their national fields' races are complete, since you're so close.

The first thing is more of a 'bug' than a suggestion |

Maybe toy around with the smaller races and the teams entering them.
For example, I've started a career with a Portuguese team and in the Volta a Portugal there are some teams that have raced the Volta (and most likely never will) and some portuguese teams are missing. This happens in every portuguese race in the calender and it takes away some of the fun of playing with a smaller team.

That's basically what I suggested in the opening post:
"E.g., we're going to add more nationality groups which will result in more realistic starting fields at races"
The reason why we didn't do this for the V2 is that it's extremely time-consuming. You have to redo an entire table - but it's without a doubt worth going through the trouble for the final release, the V3. |

Sorry. Just read half of the first post.
Yes, I've tried it myself with another db and gave up because it was too much work. But since you said you wanted to "polish" the db for the last version, that's the first thing that came to mind.

Set 3 races for the best riders (Cancellara, Boonen, Leipheimer, Evans, Contador, Armstrong, etc etc etc) are much better than not having at all.

Is it a british team? If yes, eff off. Too many of those. Heck, we should take some out.

We'll have a dozen. Including that Andorran team that Mr. Boring and Mrs. London thought not good enough for v2.

As far as I'm aware, Waggie, no decision has been made about teams for the V3 |
