I'm currently in the market for a new racing helmet. My mom and dad are putting £60 towards it, i'll prob get more money for my birthday and then i'm willing to make up the difference myself. At the moment i've been looking at the 2009 Specialized S-works 2D. Only prob is i haven't found it in red to go with my team kit. Does it come in red smoothie?

Has anyone got an opinion on this helmet (i'm looking in your diredtion smoothie) or can anyone recommend another one too me and point me in the cheapest direction of buying it. The cheapest i've seen the s-works so far is £109.

Yep it comes in Red, its the mountain bike version but don't let that put you off. Its exactly the same.
Its £109 and i don't think you'll find that cheaper anywhere else. There's no Tax on helmets because they are a piece of safety equipment. But yeah thats how it is for 2009. Its a lot better i think from last year. Its a more attractive looking helmet. I think they are great, i think im going to get a Red one myself soon.
Im not sure if this applies elsewhere but i think at our shop if you buy one from us you get a replacement either free or half price if you crash badly on it. So if you can it would be worth coming over Im not sure about stock on the Red ones actually. Specialized have put in an entirely new ordering system which means we get to see how much is in stock etc. But ill check stock for you. Any date you need it by? |

That applies to nearly ALL helmet makers, so don't go bigging up Specialised any more thanks.

Well my first race is 7th March so i'm in no real rush at the moment. Yeah if you could check on the availability of the red ones and get back to me then that would be great. I'm guessing it's the Fort Dunlop store you work at? |

nah, just typed specialized s-works 2D into google to find a picture and that came up.
And i'm sure it's not Primera's fault you don't like your bike

Your joking, Trek have had Dexter (their system for checking inventory and ordering) up and running for years. |

Lol, Dexter. Enjoy poor order control. The point is. Trek don't have their own personally Business to business. What ever fault you try to get on specialized Deadpool i will rip you to pieces |

What are you talking about, poor order control? Never heard of any issue like that at all. As for the store by store, Trek also gives out Ascend to their dealers, which is a single piece of software that can be used to do every part of a store's operation. I can fire back two you know. |

Just a question Deadpool, if you ordered a Trek Madone 6.9 and it was in stock how long would it take to come? Of course ordering it in the morning.
Also Ringo, the Red 09 Helmet is in stock. There is one in a medium. So if its sold during the week ill try and find out and ill order you one in for Saturday hopefully. |
