I thought I did as the instructions said.
I downloaded both the database and the final fix.
I put the database cdb files in the Program Files: Cyanide: ProCycling Manager 2008/ Database folder. There is no such folder in My Documents folder. Was that a typo?
Also, do I need to rename one of the Divinity cdb database files to something else?
Really confused here.
I have the downloaded version of PCM 2008.
Help needed ASAP so I can play this game. |

The cdb files go in the PCM folder in the My Documents folder. I'm not sure why you don't have one though...look again. |

Ok, I uninstalled the whole game and starting at the beginning. Maybe this time there will be this elusive PCM folder in My Documents, which is not related at all to the Program folder located in the C Drive.

Ok, are the tga and xml files both startlist type files and go in the import/startlist folder? |

OK, this is still confusing. Do I extract everything into the Program folder/Cyanide/ProCycing Manager 2008 folder??
I mean the rar file shows tga, xmls, and cdb files within and the instructions say to extract and then you are suppose to put cdb in my document folder and startlist (whatever the hell those are and where??) in my document folder. This is quite confusing. Better instructions need to be written or otherwise people are just going to screw up their game and have to keep on reinstalling.

You have one .rar-file. Inside this, there's three files:
Divinity V2.0.rar
Divinity_V2Fix.cdb
PCM_2008_Divinity_V2.0.exe
The last file, the .exe, run it and make sure to install it in Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager.
Next, open the Divinity V2.0.rar.
cyclist_photo has to go to Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager
the two .cdb files to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager/Database
The startlists to My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2008\Import AND My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2008\Import\StartLists.
Done with the .rar-file.
One file left: Divinity_V2Fix.cdb. This also needs to go to My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager/Database.
Open the game, go to Options -> Database and choose Divinity_V2Fix.cdb. |

I know the problem with the non-existing folder...the folder doesn't appear until you start a career... |

Thank you for the help. Sorry if I sounded like a jerk. It was late and I wanted to play the game before bed but it wasn't having it and I used up my three activations so now I am waiting for new activation key. Thank you again for the help. I can't wait to get her going.

Don't worry, we fully understand. I actually feel sorry for you since you've used up your activations. There's nothing worse
Good luck. |

Ok, got a new activations. One thing I am noticing from when I did my last install last night but did not activate just yet, there was not a folder created within mydocuments folder for pcm2008. It did make that folder on the second time I did a reinstall but I realized I forgot to add the official game patch and then I had installed the divinity database, which was out of order of what I was suppose to do.
Just out of curiosity, does the folder in MyDocuments get created when I do the first install of the original game or does it get created when I do the install of the divinity exe file? Just want to do things correctly here and not be install and reinstall a bijillion times.
Thank you! |

Hmmm...just did reinstall #1 for the downloaded game and have not added patch or anything and there is no pro cycling manager 2008 in mydocuments folder at all. Just the standard My pictures, my video but no Pro Cycling Manager 2008 folder within MyDocuments Folder. Why is this?
Is my install exe for PCM2008 need to be re-downloaded?
Let me know because I don't want to use up all my activations once again.
Thanks |

Could it be because I didn't do this step when uninstalling:"Last thing is Start -> Run and type in %AppData% . A folder will open. Find the Pro Cycling Manager folder and delete it. The game is now completely uninstalled."
Maybe the install exe thinks that the Pro Cycling Manager 2008 folder is already in the MyDocuments folder and doesn't need to put it in there?
If that is the case, then I guess I will need to uninstall and reinstall the game for round #2 on this activation key.

Are you sure that you're logged on as administrator?
Try to go to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents and check if it's located there. |

Yes, I am logged as administrator and I checked all folders in the documents and settings folder and nothing. Is there anything else it could be?
Do you think I need to re-download the pcm2008 files again and start fresh and make sure that I have completely uninstalled all aspects of PCM2008 from my computer?
I will try this later when I get home.

Could you send me a screenshot of your PCM folder in Program Files? I'd like to see if it's complete. |

Can't believe it's not there...but you never know.
Just for me, push the Windows button on your keyboard, then click Documents in the right hand menu.
If you can't see a Pro Cycling Manager folder then, it really doesn't exsist....
Agree with Maggot - I just did a complete re-install a day or two ago and I have it.
Anyway, install the game. then install the patch. then install divinity.
