(Little surprise for you to keep you happy)
Hey welcome to the RDG Crit Series.
No points will be added to the overall season rankings but there will be a small league kept of all the crit results throughout the season. There will be 5 in total. Our first one takes place in sunny Netherlands. A small twisting loop around the town of Amsterdam other stops include, Birmingham, Madrid, Urbino plus more!
Our peleton lined up on the start and the sun was beating down. The season is starting to get into full swing now. The cobble classics behind and a number of tours on the way. Orignally the riders were only lining up with the leaders of the RDG season. However the organisers deemed this an impossible way of running the race. A lot of people started to comment on how dangerous it would be. Matt Booth commented “This is gonna get hairy! Its so tight on some of these corners and you cant see much when you come out of them. Still a small rider like myself should be able to slip through the bunch!”
Marc Nonsense was on the start today and he displayed his brand new RDG leaders jersey with pride. The organisers paid a lot to get him and he should be up for something today.
After a about 15 easy laps the bunch start to turn up the pace. CSC started the first switch and obviously someone from the camp was feeling good today.
But then it really did start to get “Hairy” we had some fallers and Marc Nonsense only narrowly avoided it!
But Michael Brown didn't he hit the deck really hard and was on the side of the road for sometime. He did eventually get up but it looked rather bad. The crash he was in contained around 20 riders and they eventually finshed over 3 minutes down on the winner.
This photo shows how bad the crash was.
The action at the front of the bunch started to heat up. Terejsen decided to give it a dig. It didnt really go far as the bunch were at full tilt.
On the same corner as Brown another crash occured! No-one big went down but Patrick Hughes decided to pull out. His injury from his latest crash was to high of a risk and another crash could do some serious harm
Final lap! CSC organised a really good train together. They must be leading out Booth as he was about 2 riders off CSC's last man
Here comes the sprint to the line! Its mass chaos at the moment and it's hard to see any of the riders!
Then we start to see some big guns! Matt Booth hits the front hard and gets into a good position for the final corner. Kuss is leading out Crommy really well but then...
Crommy hits the deck! If the pack doesnt avoid him there is going to be carnage!! That crash has got to hurt. It also looks like Crommy is staring right at Kuss because it looked like Kuss switched rather rapidly accidently taking out Crommy!
Luckily not many riders go down and crommy slides of and smacks into the crash barriers.
But don't forget the sprint is still on! Booth leads Kuss and Booth is pulling away!
Booth takes it all the way to the line and surprisingly doesnt celebrate! What an awesome win. But would Crommy have passed him if he hadn't crashed?
But for now Booth stands a top the podium. He told PCM.Monthly this after the race.
“Oh yeah! Its great to be coming back into form again. I know I might have got a bit lucky in that race. But I suppose that's what crits are made of...Cheers!”

To be honestly, I think it was a bad idea with Crits, especially if those riders that crashes is getting hurted for the real season and the real races, but that is my opinion, but anyway; great reporting |

Nah no crashes are taken into account here. Nothing serious the crits. Just a bit of fun and light entertainment while we sort the training programs out |

Then I think it was a good idea I would have felt really sorry for those riders that crashed it that counted for the real season
EDIT: Then I voted wrong
