Hi - Ok so a complete newbie to this all. I have read as many threads as possible. I am trying to download the plus package. I have removed pcm08, reinstalled, installed the patch and downlaoded the plus package and the plus package update. I have peazip to extract the rar files. Where do i extract them to in order for them to work? Once i extract them do i need to put the files anywhere else? As in my documents, pcm08 file?
Thanks for in anticipation for your help as i want to get playing a career asap. |

Extract the files to your route PCM folder. For me it is:
C:/Program Files/Games/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager 08/
Let it overwrite any files/folders it wants to.
I believe that's it.

Ok so i have extracted the files or at least tried. I have extracted them to the PCM08 file. Not in a specific file but just the general file. When i tried to do this and extract all the different files in the plus package it says eror 127 - cannot execture requested operation. Any ideas?
Thanks |

Can't you look up what error 127 actually means? Is it a corrupted download or something else?
If you can't, I'd suggest downloading WinRAR (https://www.rarlabs.com) and trying to extract with that program. |

Which folder did you extract the package to? |

I opened the folder and then extracted each file to their individual place (i.e., textrues to the texture file etc. Is it all meant to go in one place? I tried putting it in the PCM08 in my programs but it said the error message. |

The easiest thing to do is simply to extract all files to Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager.
If you can't extract to that directory, try extracting it to your desktop and then move all the files to the same folder, Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager (not individually, all at once to avoid mistakes). |

I have to do the same, extract to the desktop, then move everything over to the PCM-folder. I think it's the same problem for all Vista-users. |

Yes, Vista is a pain when it comes to extracting. Keeps making the PCM folder read only, so can't extract anything into it.
With an installer it's different, though.
Quickest way to check it's installed, is compare the size of your C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2007 before and after installation.
As said, if the folder is not much bigger then it hasn't worked and you should drag the files across.

Installing RAM and a graphic card is really easy. The tricky bit making them work.
