I would also like some input on this one.
Is Maggot right in saying that PP and Justin are the best stat databases?
The primary thing for me is accuracy on dopers, transfers, comebacks (well, just lance). But since most db's have that taken care of, the next thing i look for is stats.
So, what do other people think? |

Since Lance didn't ride in 2008, a realistic 2008 DB wouldn't include him |

But if you are playing a career, it would be nice to have him as a FA for 2009 |

Sure, but I'm just saying that realistically speaking, it wouldn't make sense. However, it's of course very easy to add him yourself - even for novice players (with Hannes Editor or CLE-ditor).
mpritch: It sounds like you want to use a 2009 DB due to the fact that you mention both Armstrong and 'transfers'. If that's the case, you won't find any good ones at the moment, and you probably won't see any either until January. |

Right. My bad.
I guess I would prefer a good 2009 DB. Something that I can play starting today (or Australia) instead of going back through this last season.
Does that exist? Better quesiton. Does a quality version of that exist? |

I used to think that the Plus Package had the best stats but you may want to make some small adjustments. Valverde's Recovery is way too high. F.Schleck TT is too high. Also, it is not updated for dopers.
Also, has anyone noticed that some guys stats improve through training extremely fast while others do not move at all. I picked up Christian Meier and by the end of the first season he had 79 Mountain and 78 TT while Farrar's Sprint skill stayed steady at 75. They both had Mythical trainers. I realize that I this had more to do with the game and not the PPDB.

Good point. I can tell you that it is easy. If I can do it then anyone can. |

This is due to PCM08. There's different progression 'lines' for the riders. Some progress early, some progress late, others progress 'linear'. |

Can you translate that into English? Just a simple description is all. |

I didn't like the stats...
... But the graphics are great! I loved Dankan's stats.

The fact you only speak of CSC despite all that I see on those screens being equally wrong speaks volumes about how biased you are
