As long as you shut Champion down, I don't mind LA/MSS winning this

Good way to start the race. Haedo has had quite a long break and needs to ease in to the racing.

I'm surprised that Champion has been doing so well. The manager sold his absolutely best rider, Pozzovivo, to me. And the riders he got from me, Roche and Boogerd (one more?), he also decided to send away to another team (Boogerd back to me where he ended up winning one of the major classics and finishing in top 3 in several others).
.. and yet, the team is still getting very close to promotion. |

Looking at their team, they still have by far one of the strongest sprinters squad out there. And the majority of their sprinters (in fact the best three) can all get over the hills. Not only that, but Champion STILL have Leukemans and Efimkin for the hills, Paolini for the cobbles, and Chacon for the mountainous stage races.
I'm not surprised at all.

Well, at least Vitoria jumped to the Top-10... But I still got owned by Champion.

Do I detect a hint of jealousy? I know I am |

Course I am. Who else fired 3 potential 6 riders, got rid of possibly the best rider in the continental tour, and got barely nothing in return? All before the season began. Course I'm bloomin' jealous!

This race was a nightmare for Pearl Jam... We lost (+/-) 100 points to Champion and I don't see anyway of getting them back.

Rankings
Teams
A timely boost for Champion as they extend their lead over LA/MSS/Pearl Jam by 134 points in the battle for the 2nd promotion spot. Elsewhere that was little position changes, with Molteni inching past Benfica to take 9th as Benfica ride in the Vuelta, and Nippo overtake Dasani for 16th place.

A bit disapointing for haedo not to get a stage but he has 12 days of racing left and 11 of them suit him.
