Once again, welcome back to the CT team of BNZ-Superhero Racing. The NZ and Aussie outfit is still in the CT division but as usual learning something new every season! Last season was an absolute SHOCKER! Struggled all season to get a win, only to finally get one from a breakaway. No big wins at all last season from any of our leaders. Nick Schultz did get a win ahead of team mate Andy Schleck, however, being the only win in what was a miserable season, we know we can do better and really will strive to do better!
Again, welcome and we hope you enjoy your time in the HQ!

As I said to you in PMs, would love to see you guys build yourselves back up a bit from last year and look upwards - always rooting for our fellow Kiwi team and hope to one day race you in PCT
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I'm hoping that's next season!! With the riders all putting in and working hard we can definitely make it! We had the team to do it last season, we just majorly disappointed. This is our year! I can feel it! 8th year lucky

As our bid for promotion almost begins, the hard yards start in the transfer season. In previous years our transfers haven't exactly gone to plan. We have gone for 1 big overall leader with not a whole lot of support and that has failed. This season we go for a new tactic. Allow me to introduce you to our 3 newest signings to the pink colours of BNZ-Superhero Racing Team!
Jordan Schleck has been doing incredible work at our friends over at Xero Racing. He has signed on with us to co-lead and support in the mountains. We are very excited to see what he can do in the high mountains and we are excited for him to bring is PCT and PT experience to our little CT team.

Vasyliv joins us from Team Puma - SAP. He will be our lead stage racer and with the support of Schleck, Schultz and Bevin, we are hoping he can grab some incredible results! As I said we haven't gone for the greatest climber ever but instead moving for a better all-round endurance rider. That is what we get from Vasyliv over stage racers and climbers in previous seasons. I guess only time will tell but we are extremely confident in Vasyliv to deliver!

And yet again another signing from a PT team. This one cost us Joel Yates, however we are very excited for Kopfauf. We believe he is one of the best lead out riders on the market while also now being one of the best prologue riders in the Continental tour. That means stage wins and more points for us in the final standings. We will see how it turns out but we will be counting on Kopfauf to deliver our lead sprinter to the line on multiple occasions (Whoever that lead sprinter may be )

Some very handy early signings for you. Quite sad to see Jordan go, one of the first riders we ever secured and our first talent. Would love to see him back at Xero one day but more importantly hope he can deliver for you!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Congrats on Vasyliv, definitely a great signing and a bargain with this price tag Still hoping that Stüssi will outscore him though, else I'd have signed the wrong Puma
And not that happy to see Kopfauf down in CT as well, was hoping for Chavanne to be a more clear-cut favorite
Nice signings for you in general though, promotion hunt doesn't seem unrealistic with that team You've always been strong in the hills, now you add the mountains - would be disappointed to see you as far down in the rankings as you were last year!

Cool signings! Had my eye on both Schleck and Vasyliv but ultimately decided to go a different route. I hope they do well for you!

Congrats on the signings. A lot of good climbers coming into the division.
Was hoping SotD wouldn't find a home for Kopkauf in CT as now Keough wont be the top prologue guy. Oh well, will have to hope the daily form gods go in our favor.

Saying Goodbye
Well, we were always going to lose some riders but these riders are special. They are special because they get to come back next year!! Thats right, I'm talking about the 4 riders that have been loaned out this season to either PT or PCT loans.
I want to quickly thank each manager and team involved in these deals for their support in the youth and our little Kiwi team. It is greatly appreciated! First rider we say goodbye to is...
Jake is a future great of New Zealand cycling! He is a very integral part of the squad here at BNZ-Superhero Racing and we can't wait to see him in action in the Pro Tour and then back with us next season! He is growing into a very strong young TTer and can't wait to see the incredible things he will achieve! Thankyou to MOL Cycling Team for taking him on board!

Jimmy is another young domestique in the making. Extremely strong in the cobbled classics and a rider that doesn't seem to know when to quit. Jimmy will be huge part of our cobbles squad moving forward and we cannot wait to see his progression this season in the PT. Again we thank MOL Cycling Team for taking this rider as well!!
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PR | 72 | 58 | 67 | 65 | 72 | 70 | 67 | 73 | 67 | 64 | 76 | 65 | 65 | 74 | 58 | 67 | 65 | 74 | 71 | 68 | 75 | 69 | 64 | 76 | 65 | 65 |
One of Australia's next top sprinters! Cameron Scott has been with us for a few years now and has been an integral part of main sprint stage wins for Wouter Wippert in previous seasons. He will be an excellent lead out man upon return to our team next season and after a couple of years of training, could even be one of the top sprinters in Australia! We thank Duolingo for welcoming Cameron into their team and we can't wait to see how he performs in the PT!
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PR | 70 | 62 | 65 | 56 | 70 | 70 | 69 | 59 | 75 | 76 | 60 | 63 | 57 | 72 | 62 | 65 | 56 | 72 | 71 | 73 | 60 | 77 | 78 | 60 | 63 | 57 |
Finally, we have Regan Gough. This man is an unexpectedly excellent lead out man in the making! Great sprint stats with good back up stats as well as a strong prologue in his legs. After 2 more seasons in the loan system, we hope to see Gough to his strongest and delivering sprinters to the line consistently! I want to thank fellow Kiwi team, Xero Racing for there constant support each season with loans and yet another loan deal and another friendly transfer season (where we aren't competing for the same riders all the time).
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PR | 68 | 60 | 64 | 68 | 65 | 67 | 67 | 63 | 71 | 72 | 69 | 64 | 72 | 72 | 60 | 65 | 69 | 66 | 70 | 73 | 63 | 75 | 76 | 69 | 65 | 76 |
Finally, I want to welcome in Lars Van den Berg to BNZ-Superhero Racing. He will be joining us for 1 season from our friends at MOL Cycling Team. He will be an excellent climber in the future and we cannot wait to see how the 24 year old can contribute to us this season.

More transfer posts to come. FA signings as well as a few more departures. This time for good

Vasilyev is in my opinion one of the steals of the transfer season in general, fantastic signing at the CT level!

Thanks guys! Really happy with both of the climbers we have brought in!
Vasyliv is going to be amazing for us hopefully. First real stage racer we have had since Kiserlovski a few seasons back so hopefully we see some great results! Schleck is also here to support and lead in the more climbing races. He will be excellent for us too and still only 26 so training possibilities should we promote or have some spare change.

Final Transfers and Free Agency
As the transfer season draws to a close, a lot of movement and big signings happened for us. We set out with 3 goals,
- Sign a GC leader
- Sign a sprint leader
- Add depth to the squad
We are really happy with how our transfer season has gone this season and we would like to introduce you the the final few riders that were signed throughout the last week of the transfer season!
Rajovic joins us from Cedevita and will be our main rider in the sprint races! He is very similar speed and acceleration as our previous sprint leader, however he is only 25 years of age! Meaning we have many good years in him and potentially even some training moving forward! We did have to give up Patrick Bevin for Rajovic, however, with the difficulty it was trying to find a top sprinter, we thought it was a good deal! We can't wait to see him in action!
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PR | 72 | 58 | 64 | 59 | 70 | 76 | 70 | 55 | 78 | 82 | 57 | 57 | 62 |
We must say, even though we tried to be, we were not very successful in signing our desired riders from free agency. Finally, nearing the end we laid our eyes on an exact type of rider we were looking for!
Nizzolo was one of the desired replacements of Wippert from last season. A fantastic sprint ability for the flat races moving forward! We will be using him for the races that Rajovic will not be attending as well as potentially helping him at a race or 2. We are very excited to see this experienced Italian in action! Signed for only 50k wage as well!
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PR | 72 | 53 | 63 | 56 | 68 | 65 | 69 | 56 | 79 | 77 | 61 | 63 | 65 |
For this rider we have to go all the way back to our first season as Fox Sports - Golomt Racing Team. Timothy Roe is back! Roe was signed as our replacement for Patrick Bevin. This signing was pushed by sponsor Golomt Bank as they remember having Roe on the squad and the team player and captain that he was for us! We are very excited to see him back in our colours again and we can't wait to see how he can support our 2 new leaders in the mountains! Roe was also signed for only 50k wage!
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PR | 65 | 74 | 72 | 74 | 69 | 67 | 70 | 56 | 61 | 72 | 69 | 61 | 74 |
Jhon will be our stagiare for the season and we are very excited to see how he can go! We feel really good about his future and we hope he can prove to use what he can do! He signed on for the season for 10k wage and we are excited to see him in action in the few race days that he can compete in!
FL | MO | HI | TT | STA | RES | REC | CO | SP | ACC | FI | DH | PR | 61 | 67 | 66 | 62 | 65 | 65 | 65 | 60 | 60 | 62 | 63 | 66 | 60 | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | 62 | 76 | 74 | 63 | 68 | 69 | 72 | 60 | 60 | 69 | 71 | 67 | 61 |
That's all for signings from the transfer season! Coming up soon we have the CT Draft. We will be releasing the full team once that is complete and then off to Gisborne for our first race of the season!

Really, really good transfer season for you, congrats! Bringing in two good climbers and sprinters alongside the nice quality you already had on hills, in TTs and on cobbles makes you one of the top promotion contenders in my eyes! Well done to fit all that quality in a CT wage cap
