Congratulations! The ten of you will join the Continental division.
Being accepted is only the first part. A strong activity in the game, both in the off-season and during the season are expected of all of you. In the past some teams lost their spot due to high inactivity or didn't even make it into transfers/season start. So don't take anything for granted now that you are in!
The first step is to confirm your team name and sponsors, which you can do in this thread: https://pcmdaily....rowstart=0
Fill it in as all others are doing, and just put "N/A" under the 2021 Name section. Please do so as fast as possible as it`s needed for some future organizations.
A note on sponsors. You can't pick a sponsor that is already being used, or was used last season. You can see last year's sponsors from the 2021 list, but check the thread above too for any new sponsors being chosen by teams. Most teams are already in the first post spoiler list, some more recent posts are on the last page.
Your team will need a jersey for PCM20, and once ready that needs to be uploaded to the 2022 ManGame section of the Shirts Database. Notice that at the moment there is no PCM20 section, so upload it to the PCM16 section and 2022 season. https://pcmdaily....loadmg.php (Make sure to pick PCM16 as game in the subit formular)
You can then post a Team HQ thread in https://pcmdaily....orum_id=96
First, try to think about what you want to put in it. Don't start spamming the HQ forum out of excitement, its your first chance to prove you`ll be a good manager for the game!
Please do not suddenly post in a lot of Team HQ threads declaring interest in riders they might have. And certainly do not make any offers for riders. This is banned for all teams until the start of the transfer season, when there will be plenty of time for such moves. Transfers will require some careful planning - not wildly charging in trying to sign every single available rider.
Everything else in the off-season will follow in due course, and be announced in this MG Announcements forum or the General CT forum. A vague order will be: Reveal of racing calendar; selection of team goals, indeed already before transfer start; transfer season; race selection; filling in rider race planner files; start of the season with the first race. However there is no timescale for when these will happen. Impatient posts asking about timings are not appreciated. |

Nice! Thanks for the chance to be a part of this. Right now i have just have one question. Since i just started with PCM22 again and dont have any since before since 14 or so, are the shirts made for PCM22 compatible with the PCM20 ?

Welcome, one thing that threw me when I was starting was the Jersey.
Normally, there are some members/ managers who design jerseys and maybe will post a thread to take requests.. so keep an eye out or put a request in Team HQ asking for help if needed...

I have several sponsors in mind which I doubt have been or are being used so I can supply the images. But I’m too bad woth anything graphical to attempt it myself. |

Hello and welcome everyone! You look like a very intriguing bunch.
I second the sentiment echoed above: it can be an overwhelming situation at first, but joining this game 10 years ago has been one of the best decisions of my life and I hope it will turn out to be just as much fun for you!
Looking back, I think the most important advice to give is that this is a commitment.
Your team will see stretches of good fortune as well as droughts that sap your motivation.
As a team that once willingly accepted relegation to sign and develop a future TdF winner that lifted us to the top step of the PT many years later, take my word for it that endurance and long-term planning WILL pay off in this game as long as you're committed to your vision and ready to learn and improve.
It will be easy to give up early and call it a failed experiment, but you would miss out on experiencing the best feeling of competition and community on the internet!
Don't be discouraged by strict rules and schedules, it's all logical and easy to follow if you remember to keep a few vital browser tabs open during the intense times of planning and transfers to remind you of the next step and what to look out for.
I think in general, having one tab of the site open at all times helps staying immersed in the game, and when your team is on hiatus for a few weeks, you can check out the other divisions and find favorites to support there!
And as said above, we're just as much colleagues as we are competitors here, so PMs are always open for specific questions, general advice or even just smalltalk!
As much fun as having a vision for your team is, it's even more fun to share your excitement with a few people that you can trust to not mess with your plans.
That was a lot of text, but I hope at least some of it will be helpful. Enjoy your time in the ManGame, and good luck!

Good to see so many of you guys are welcoming the new guys  And thanks Cio for some helpfull tips, I have to find my way around the forum still, so having some standard tabs open all the time will help me to not get lost and stay in tune with the latest. |
