After the new Advanced Editor was released, with no time to make the Fusion DB run again (three months remaining, probably due to be released in December, way too far and way too late)... an attempt to rebuild my Historical DB again.

1990 Here we go again.
Good luck
You'll need it. With so many riders turning from top to average and so many from average to top in 1991 you're going to have a difficult time making that happen realistically in the game.
I wish you much luck

I expect to launch a couple of historical projects before the end of the PCM season, but always working calmly and slowly, with no rush, taking care of every detail even better than in up-to-date DB's (since we know when riders retire, when they end their contracts, how they'll evolve...).
Muito obrigado isso. |

I'm confused, the Fusion project was stopped, right? |

Yes, it's stopped, but if it wasn't it would have been released in December. |

Just thought of something: With the Worlds and the Vuelta being at different times in the calendar, the AI will still make riders peak for those times. You'll have riders peaking for the Vuelta in September when the Vuelta is in April. Same with the World Championships.
I suppose you can edit the default training schedules they use to fix that.
Just a thought

Good luck, Dankan.
You expect to launch a couple before the end of the PCM season?
Even better.

Nice but I don't think hink they should be wearing Las Helmets. Could you like get someone to make 1990s style kit? |

I was wondering how difficult it would be to do a non-existant helmet for all riders to wear. Thus making them wear nothing (except in TTs of course)
How cool would that be?

If possible... that's something I'm afraid of, of course. |

Well, i guess you have to make a model of the top of the head of the riders then... Ill have the Laurent Brochard helmet!

Yeah I was thinking that on the face the top of the head isn't there so you would see a rider with no top of the head. |

Oh crap. I thought they already had heads.
In that case, maybe do a backwards cap?
Perhaps even take advantage of the model of cap that's already in game (appears on the podium). Just flip it backwards like the danish guy in this pic (second in line):

It is possible to change the rider peaks and rider programs, it's just a lot of work though |

Is there any more to it than making your own custom XML programs and replacing the "Vuelta 1", "Vuelta 2" and "Vuelta 3" XML files with those?

Yes. Only became swiss when he was about 15, after moving to Switzerland.
