After plenty of consideration, it has been announced by the PDMG committee that the 2009 World Championships in PCMdaily's Management Game will take place in France. More specifically: Paris!
Road Race
There will be plenty of hills
And it will culminate onto the Champs Elysses
221 testing kilometres
Early bookies favourites include Filippo Pozzato, Oscar Freire, Alejandro Valverde, Stefan Schumacher, Paolo Bettini and Kim Kirchen.
Time Trial
While those hoping for road glory will have to suffer over the hills before reaching the Champs Elysses, the time trialers will skip out the hills completely as they take on a 52km course around 3 laps of the Champs Elysses.
It is almost completely flat, but is sure to be a spectacle
The following nations are in with a realistic chance of featuring on the roads of Paris:
Italy, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Russia, France, Netherlands, USA, Colombia, Norway, Great Britain, Venezuela, Austria, Kazakhstan, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Australia, Portugal, Argentina, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Czech Republic.
So who will ride this race? Well, if you have a rider on your management game team (ProTour or Continental) and wish for them to be considered for selection in either the Road Race or the Time Trial (Route yet to be revealed), please post listing the riders and their countries.
The teams themselves will be selected closer to the race, when full allocation details are known - and if a rider hasnt been nominated in here by their manager, they wont be riding in Paris. Please also post if you wish to be involved in the final selection process for a certain country. To qualify to be a selector, you must either have a rider on your team from that country, or if the country is your team's nationality. You can be a selector for more than one nation. I will have the final say for each team, but it will be based on decisions made by the selectors.

Mattias, all you need to do know is nominate riders from your own team for them to be considered for their countries (Irregardless of RR and TT). Aswell as posting if you want to be a selector for any of the countries.
The actual selection of the Swedish team will happen on a later date
