Hi,
After 3 betas, the Hannes Converter is now done.
So far, it is in German, but soon it will be translated to English.
Instructions:
1) Install program
2) Open program
3) To open db, click: Datei --> CDB Datei laden
4) Pick a PCM2007 DB
5) Wait some time (The db is loaded
6) Open a table
7) The data in the table is now loaded
8) For saving the table click on save
9) To save in CDB format, click Datei -> CDB speichern
10)The table tells if changed has been made
11)Wait while CDB file is created
NB: It is possible to edit in Access. Simply, after opening DB in Hannes Converter, close Hannes Converter again, and open the .mdb file in C:\Program files\Hannes Converter 2007\DB. After editing the DB in access, open Hannes converter again, and save DB as normal
The most important tables :
-DYN_contract_cyclist -> Change contracts (Important for careers!)
-DYN_cyclist -> All riders, stats is formated as ingame (50-85)
-DYN_team -> The teams
-STA_race -> All races
-STA_stage -> All stages
.Net Framework is necessary.

Is .NET Framework 2.0 installed on your computer?

I've reinstalled it but it's still the same... but what do you mean that the DB I want to edit is unpacked?
BTW: I don't know why the 2007 version doesn't work because the 2006 version has always worked for me.

The official cyanide DB is not unpacked, you have to open a unpakced DB.
Here's a guide from impish, how to make a DB unpacked:
How to unpack a 2007er Database?
Easy take the file you like, rename it to Local.cdb. Copy this file to PCM2006 (yes to the old one) over the Local.cdb file.
Start PCM2006 the game crashed, but in PCM2006 root directory you get a file called decompress.txt (cant remember the exact name).
This file is a unpacked PCM2007 cdb file.
So rename the file to anything.cdb

Just out of sheer morbid curiousity, is there any way to make every race "invitation-only" (ie. the way things are done with the ProTour events, except with 22 wildcards rather than 20 automatics and 2 wildcards) rather than with the individualized inscripton process? Further, is there any way to make every team's default inscriptions blank (aside from the ProTour events for ProTour teams)? Thanks in advance! |

Is this an unpacked db of the ''official'' realname db, because that would save me a lot of editing. |

Would it be possible for someone to upload an unpacked db of this new version, because I don't have PCM 2006 installed anymore. |

I have another question: why doesn't the pcm game don't see the new edited db? (I've put them in Database with the original database but when I enter the game and want to chance the database it reads only the original one ) |

You need to place the databases in My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\Database |

And as an aditional step, you need to select your database in PCM 2007 under options (one of the last tabs) |

And if it still doesn't work, rename your DB to OfficialRelease.cdb, place it in Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\Database, overwrite the original file and try again. |
