Im only doing single player, so the patch wont matter.
Team:
Cavendish, Hammond, Rogers, Kirchen, Gerdemann, Burghardt, Piil, Eisel

A lovely team, I take it Cavendish will lead the team - and I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't win at least a stage SN

Well Kirchen will elad as theres a couple hilly stages, but all the flat ones will give me a chance to test out sprinting. I currently plan a Piil > Hammond > Eisel > Cavendish train. Although if Cavendish is having a bad day, Eisel will be the leading sprinter.

Sorry Smoothie, I am very Cavendish biased. But I realise theres no point going for the win when the form is -5, -4 etc

Heres why I appreciate it:
Stage 1
Since it's return in 2004, the Tour of Britain has always finished in London and has only contained one time trial. A 4km course in Birmingham in 2005.
Today brings a change as the 2007 Tour of Britain will start in London, with a flat 9km Time Trial.
Big favourite Michael Rogers is an early starter, he has a TT stat that is 7 higher than the 2 other 3-star favourites (81-74). Unfortunately, Rogers woke up today with a headache and is not feeliung too good, in other words, a -5. The curse of the F.O.D. strikes in my first race .
Rogers dis not let this bother him though and set a very strong seemingly unbeatable time. Indeed, it was not beatable but it was equable. Step forward Jason McCartney.

A good start, and it shows why I don't like the form of the day as it is - it has too great an effect

Stage 2 brought my first crash 22km from the finish, but it wasnt the Memory leak, it was the damn MSN Plus wanting to update, I have now removed it.

Stage 2
Burghardt went in the break on a day in which both Cavendish and Eisel receieved a -5. The supposed hilly stage didnt bring any challenging hills at all and the break was caught near the finish.
At +3 Kirchen fancied his chances and attacked with 10km left, he hung on to win.
1. Kim Kirchen
2. ??? Olmo Menchabo
3. Alex Rasmussen
4. Bernhard Eisel
5. Roger Hammond
The game crashed during the highlights so I could get no screens from the replay and could also not export the results.
Having played just 1 proper stage, I can already see how shit the game is. My enthusiasm has been zapped and I wont bother playing again today. The gameplay is too choppy and the crashes too common.
