A big update close to the season end!
The Tour of America for couple of teams delivered big points, so did the C2HC stage races Euskal Bizkleta and Herald Sun and also Solidarnosc.
Add C1 Milano Torino, C2HC Philadelphia, Transfaragasan and C2 Bulgaria, Heistse Pijl and Ronde Ijsselmeer for extra points.
Best team over this period was GCN ProTeam, which is not surprising seeing the amount of race days spent here scoring in all but Milano Torino including more than 200 points alone in the Tour of America!
Coming closest is CT`s top team Azteca, even without participating in America but dominating Euskal Bizkleta and consistent scoring in most other.
Glanbia was the best CT team in America just 10 points above GCN and with a great Herald Sun Tour they were really strong using not as many race days. Adastra the only other team above 400 points mainly from Solidarnosc.
From the promotion teams NENT had a weaker period and just like CYBEX struggle in the fight for the top5 spots. Instead Euskaltel, Bianchi, Netia gained on them while Adastra or DK Zalgiris might still have chances on a quick look.
| Team | ToA | Phi | Eus | Tra | Sun | Sol | Mil | Bul | Hpi | Ijs | Total | | GCN ProTeam | 201 | 21 | 91 | 46 | 33 | 49 | 0 | 31 | 31 | 26 | 529 | | Azteca - NBCSN | 0 | 9 | 222 | 75 | 54 | 88 | 0 | 55 | 3 | 0 | 506 | | Glanbia Foods Cycling Project | 211 | 42 | 16 | 0 | 205 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 474 | | Adastra - Hell Energy Cycling | 0 | 49 | 65 | 18 | 59 | 167 | 0 | 49 | 2 | 0 | 409 | | Euskaltel - Elior | 0 | 11 | 58 | 10 | 136 | 48 | 0 | 98 | 0 | 23 | 384 | | Bianchi - Campagnolo | 0 | 86 | 87 | 11 | 10 | 66 | 0 | 80 | 7 | 8 | 355 | | Netia - Vonin | 0 | 7 | 39 | 0 | 199 | 42 | 16 | 0 | 9 | 13 | 325 | | DK Zalgiris | 0 | 53 | 77 | 50 | 39 | 74 | 0 | 0 | 5 | 0 | 298 | | Equinor Pro Cycling | 91 | 63 | 79 | 8 | 19 | 17 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 14 | 291 | | CYBEX Platinum | 0 | 0 | 74 | 37 | 59 | 43 | 0 | 57 | 0 | 18 | 288 | | NENT Racing p/b Hootsuite | 0 | 14 | 25 | 47 | 23 | 74 | 0 | 48 | 23 | 0 | 254 | | McCormick Pro Cycling | 0 | 36 | 21 | 0 | 6 | 110 | 0 | 20 | 3 | 55 | 251 | | Eddie Stobart | 129 | 0 | 24 | 14 | 64 | 10 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 242 | | OMV Petrom-albania.al | 0 | 7 | 32 | 12 | 57 | 33 | 0 | 27 | 49 | 18 | 235 | | Centovalli - Fiat | 0 | 18 | 4 | 23 | 11 | 106 | 11 | 38 | 0 | 0 | 211 | | BNZ Cycling Team | 0 | 0 | 40 | 29 | 83 | 20 | 0 | 8 | 0 | 0 | 180 | | Tryg Insurance Cycling Team | 0 | 0 | 46 | 36 | 7 | 36 | 0 | 9 | 4 | 0 | 138 |
Keep in mind that GP Yekaterinburg is still to be raced, which makes it two remaining C2HC classics with Zuri Metzgete being the other one!
Also couple of PTHC races in case CT participates in SAA and Japan Cup and the not yet calculated Osterreich Rundfahrt!
Azteca still dominating the CT having a gap big enough to most likely remain in the top seat until the end now!
Euskaltel with a strong ageing Nibali the only other team with 2000+ points but closely followed by GCN. Both of them look secured promoting teams.
NENT and Netia next with a bit of a gap but as only other teams with more than 10 and actually around 12 PpRD ratio, those look good to go up as well.
Bianchi, DK Zalgiris, Adastra and also Glanbia/CYBEX a bit behind them being best of the rest and might hope to grab a spot upwards as well.
Eddie Stobart despite an okay Tour of America being last with Centovalli and BNZ the other teams with less than 1000 points!

Holloway being back in the lead after his points scored in Solidarnosc and Ijsselmeer. Eastman following on 2 making it a great run for the USA.
Azteca`s Chaves finally woke up late in the season being up to 3rd now followed by Pinot and Kwiatkowski in the top5.
Faiers surprisingly high and so is Nibali with Keough being best sprinter behind Holloway. Hoelgaard and Moser to complete the top10.

Another really good month for the team and you’d have to think that Podium finish should be pretty secure by now!
One of those weird seasons AI wise with Nibbles as the 7th best rider in the CT. He’s been ridiculously good in C2 and C2HC. Maybe it’s partially down to the help he’s had from the likes of Borisavljevic who’s been his right hand man this season who himself is in the Top 30 as well. You’d have to say Nibbles is the surprise of the Man-Game season and a bargain too!
Moser has been a little inconsistent but I can’t complain too much when he’s still scored over 400 points and is one of the Top 3 scoring sprinters in the division.
Obviously our main disappointment is Costa who has had his moments but, in general, has really struggled to score this season. Imagine if he had a half decent season too!

A bit disappointing to see Glanbia so low after witnessing their great ToA first hand.
The 5 promoting teams seems set now, congratulations to all those teams!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Pretty disappointing period, to be honest. But from the big amount of low scoring races, we can clearly see we lack a leader on several terrains. Of course, Austria is still missing, which should be about 80 points for us, but we're still not among the Top 15...
Just a question: Are Rio Visto Chinesa and GP Cyclistes missing, or have I misinterpreted the race codes?

Both races are included!
But either they already were in the update last ranking or I haven`t listed them in neither of them two individually, but the full result has them in. |

OK, but then some races must already have been in the last update without being mentioned. We had 622 points in update 6, scored 211 in this update and are now at 832 (+ 210). I think I'll check our score across all updates tonight if I find some time. Sorry for being picky about numbers, but you should know me by now

I have you at 1021, with the points missing from this update for Osterreich, Rio, GP Cyclistes and Tour of Britain. Every other team expect from Equinor (who I have on 1114) is pretty much identical to my numbers, so think you may be right that a few races are missing from your total. |

8th place in the end - I'm not expecting much from the two C2HC races remaining. Still, another going up after being a basement dweller for the first two seasons. But to be fair I'm not expecting promotion. Well, time for another off-season trying to build a team and try to get over the hump

Yeah, you're right, I forgot Britain with a stage win and some more minor points.
I checked for some other teams, and these races seem to be in the rankings for them, as they got more points in this period than the number in the race list. We got even one point less, and are missing the points from the races you mentioned. Your total score definitely matches better with what the period felt like, so I don't know what should be right...

I have you on
21 Rio Vista
49 Britain
30 GP Cyclistes
Those points are in the 832 total.
Osterreich still missing. Not sure how much you have there. But missing for all teams still. |

So I had 622 from the last update, then:
38 Bulgaria
88 Osterreich
21 Rio
30 GP Cyclistes
18 Philadelphia
49 Britain
4 Euskal
23 Transfagarasan
11 Milano-Torino
11 Herald Sun
106 Solidarnosc
Making 399 total, which added onto the previous total takes it to 1021. Doubt my numbers are 100% correct, but it does seem that some points are missing unless both Fabianski and I have double counted a race or two. |

Exactly my numbers.
But found the mistake now.
Benelux was on 101 earlier but must have typed something wrong there as it said "s" in that one instead of the regular formular.
Those were the missing 101 points making them up to 933.
If Osterreich is 88, it would be 1021 as well then indeed. |

Thanks a lot for double and triple checking! And sorry for the mess... 300 points matches more with what I had estimated (without Österreich, where we were the only CT team anyway), meaning we do really have a shot at the Top 15. "Just" about 100-300 points short of a good midfield spot - I can live with that. Thanks again!

Getting dangerously close to missing our top 15 goals since don't think we score much in the missing races. Had a happy moment when I thought Baltic might be missing but although not listed looks like it is in there when comparing to my last total. Messing up our perfect record on sponsor goals because we finish 16th would hurt, that said we have actually been way more successful than I expected so can't complain too much.
Thanks for the update and congrats to Azteca on what seems like an imminent victory and to Eastman for what should be a 1-2 for US riders in the CT rider standings. Looking forward to battling Keogh one more time at the USA NC.

I'm really, really surprised that a pure sprinter can make the top of the list - despite a great season by Eastman. It's just amazing how consistently Holloway performed even in higher level races. I wonder what will be his new wage with this amount of wins... If McCormick wants to keep an aging star
Faiers and Nibali are definitely among this year's overperformers - which hurts especially concerning the latter, as I was really tempted to bid on him. I should have. But well, with Guillén's 300+ points for free, I shouldn't be complaining about overperformers But with Masnada being the only other rider in the Top 50 (Austria points included), we clearly know there's a lot of work coming along in the off-season: Guillén will decrease and probably leave, and Masnada needs a PT loan-out. Not much left then...

I'd for either him or Faiers.
Not the strongest period from us, but top 5 should be locked which is great PCT is calling us back. It does however mean a major rework of the team with so many riders currently being 32, should be interesting.

Will go with that great non-statement: "McCormick is looking forward to sitting down with Dan and discussing his goals for the future."
