Chris Meier - Stage Racing - Free Agent

it is really easy to find out which riders you should get:
1. place your savegame(only the .cdb file) in my documents/pcm 2008/database
2. open your savegame with the official DB editor
3. click 'rider attributes'
4. click 'potential', which is the 3rd column twice
5. Any rider that has 7 or 8 potential will be a great rider in the future. (8 is better then 7) |

nope. This is something different. Some of these guys arent 7 or 8. you can be a 6 but still have high stats.
actually four of them are a 5. one is 7 and the rest are 6 so dont only look at potential.

no. that isnt even the best example. In 2010. French riders are winning the GT, Hilly Classics and Cobbles. So unfair.

Is he good enough to train him as a stage racer or just train him as a time trialer? |

Does the value_f_potentiel_total and value_f_potentiel max also have a role in the potential curve ?
Otherwise the pepsilight db is a bit weird, with for example Criel and Loddo having one of the highest maximums |

In databases the columns value_f_potentiel_total and value_f_potentiel ma don't matter, they don't mean anything. In savegames they mean quite a bit.

what does the value in those columns do?

value_f_potentiel_total - The 5 stats with the best values, added togethor
value_f_potentiel_max - The 5 stat max's added togethor (you can see the stat's max in the "limit_i_***" column)
***, represents the name of a stat

In my FDJ file, Vanendert is the new Mercx, capable of winning all sorts of races (FL 75, MO 80, HIL 80, DH 77, REC 76, FTR 74, SP 73, ACC 76, COB 73, STA 75)
a bit ridiculous for the second season.
Other hot FDJ talents (stats all second season):
sprinters Chavannel (80 SP, 80 ACC) and Hurotivich (81 SP, 80 ACC) (bad sp., I know)
Puncheurs Meersman (78 Hill) and Stubbe (77 hill)
Varenguard is also 77 Hill and 77 TT.
I've won plenty with this team already, and it's only May 2009 in my save file |
