Liquigas Team Photo
Dankan's Real Name DB
Level: Normal, but if i win a lot I can always up it.
The only change to the team was the addition of Italian Starlet Diego Ulissi. We were able to convince the young man to sign on as a neo-pro. We hope that in time he will be a key member of the squad in the future.
The Key Members
One of the 3 Captains on the team, Pippo's main objective will be to complete our sponsor's goal of a top 3 in Paris-Roubaix. His other main goal will be to take a stage victory in Le Tour. If he concentrates more on his racing than his finely quaffed hair, then he might be able to have a productive season.
One of the fastest men in the whole of the peloton is Bennati. We will look to Daniele to complete two of our sponsor goals, Milan-San Remo & the Tour's Green Jersey. He will also be expected to take a smattering of wins throughout the year, and could well turnout to be the team's most important rider.
It will be up to Franco to pick up much of the slack that was left behind after Di Luca's departure. Pellizotti believes that he can be a viable Grand Tour leader, so his main objective will be to get a podium spot at this year's Giro d'Italia. His other major objective will be to try and complete the sponsor goal of a top 5 in the Giro di Lombardia.
Nibali is a man for the future, but that won't keep us from expecting him to put in some fine performances this year. Vincenzo's main goal will be the Giro. He will be given pretty much a free role, but if Pellizotti needs him, he will be there to help his Captain. The second half of his season is still undecided, he could possibly ride the Deutschland Tour or possibly the Vuelta. Next year we will begin to expect some big results from the young man.
Beltran will have a quiet early season as he has decided to focus on the middle and second half of the season. Manuel will be our best GC hope for the Tour de France, but he may opt to go for the Polka Dot Jersey sacrificing the GC. He will however be our leader at his home Grand Tour, the Vuelta.
Bertagnolli will be co-captain the squad in the Ardennes races along with Albasini. It might be a bit much but we hope Leonardo will achieve a top 10 in one of our key races, Liege-Bastogne-Liege. He will peak a second time at the end of the year to try and help complete the top 5 in Lombardia.
Quinziato is a good cobbler and time trialler and will be a key domestique for Pozatto in the cobbled classics. He will also target the time trials of the Tour.
Albasini will target early season races as he aims to curb his form to help lead the team in the Ardennes Classics.
The young Czech might not be ready this year to compete on the biggest stage, but we hope that he will be able to show why we think so highly of him. Roman's main objective will be the Tour de Suisse. He probably won't win it, but we are hoping for him to put in a good performance in his major objective. He will also take part in the Vuelta to see just how much he has progressed over the year.
Charlie is an invaluable member of the squad, and will be one of the team's key domestiques. Charlie will once again be called upon to support our Giro leader, this time Pellizotti. He will be one his Franco's key helpers when we hit the mountains and hopefully will help Pellizotti to a podium spot. But his main objective for the year will be to win his home race, the Tour of Britain.

I was referring to the fact that his riders will be wearing green at the tour one way or another.

The team has been presented, it is time to start the season.
The first result of the season sees Aaron Kemps of Team Astana win the Austrailian Championships.
The next update will see the start of the Tour Down Under.

you have absolutely no way of knowing this, until the story starts for a while, and even then its his choice . plus like most of us he's probably still figuring out the new game which seems to me more varied and difficult.
