we just had a dutch guy who started an elimination race, waited for it to fill with 16 people, started the game, and just as it was starting, said he was going to dinner close it.

here's a tip for everyone: don't play with french people. Nothing against them being french, of course, it's just that every single time (and I've played with them about a dozen times so far) it's the same thing: they take 10-15 minutes for all of them to choose a rider so the race can start. Even though all riders have the exact same stats.

True. One of these days, while selecting the riders for elimination race, they took the exact time of going to the fridge and eating an entire icecream to pick their riders and to do the first round of the elimination.B)

foo_fighter is a good host although he was really cocky thought no one could beat him and then when I did was amazed and kept challenging me for a rematch. Stuart can concur he was there.

Robfrenk is a great host, top quality. He has a good humour and the game's I've played in with him have had good humoured people in. He always keep launching new games after ones finish, just played 3 on the trot and am now taking a break
