Quite Interesting
Crommy
Some of you may remember my old general ignorance quiz I ran for a few weeks.
https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...rowstart=0
Well, I've decided to restart it, but as a whole quiz was too much work, I'll just post a question, you try to answer it by posting.

So here is question number 1:

Who was the first person to circumnavigate the globe?

2 answers to this one, have fun guessing Wink

Well Magellan is attributed with it but Spaniard Juan Sebastián Elcano took control and led it so he is the first.Drake was actually the first person to lead it the whole way.

Given how hard it is, I'll tell you.

It was Henry the Black.

He was Magellan's slave and interpreter. Magellan took Henry first from Malaysia to Lisbon in 1511.
Then, Henry accompanied Magellan on his round the world trip , setting off in the other direction across the Atlantic and Pacific, so when they arrived in the Far East in 1521, Henry the Black had become the first person to circumnavigate the globe.

New question coming up

Was the 2nd one, the trip was concluded one year after. Don't forget the portuguese guys. Magellan is just a GPS brand (had one of those B)). Juan Sebastián Elcano concluded Magalhães' trip, as member of his crew, after the portuguese died, when fighting at Filippines.Wink

I don't think so...

As many vegetarians use to say, who eats meat tends to develop rage on himself, so as Hitler seemed to have so many rage, he wasn't a vegetarian.Pfft
