The world's greatest tennis tournament kicks off in SW19 today.
Who do you think will win?
Is Federer spent? O r will he still reign supreme?
Will Nadal take his control of the clay game to grass?
What about Djokovic?
Or the womens?
Will Ivanovic assume control?
Will Sharapova return?
Can the Williams sisters show their staying power?
Feel free to post and comment

ANDY MURRAY!!!!!!
and the less scottish answer, Id like Novak Djokovic to win, maybe he is too young though. Or maybe Bagdhatis for an outside bet.

I like how you include Ivo Karlovic in the poll - after he has already been knocked out. The same applies to David Nalbandain.
Only 3 men can win Wimbledon: Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic. Hopefully itll be Djokovic.

Murray has no chance, grass is not his surface. So he'll get knocked out sooner or later, and the television and newspapers can stop talking up a British winner and the hype can die down.
Which is good, because I hate the coverage Tennis gets during Wimbledon - or rather, the biased 'theres nothing wrong in the world of tennis' coverage we get on the BBC
Federer to win again btw. |

If you wrote this when Nalbandian was still in, either you right dead slowly or a quick glance at the latest scores would have shown you that he was losing badly to Frank Dancevic
I forget who Karlovic lost to, but I know he lost

I havent actually seen Murray being given much chance of winning this year. Sure people have been saying how he can do well/should do well/needs to do well, but most agree he wont win.
Its nothing like the yearly Tim Henman hype anymore.
Personally, I find Wimbledon's coverage great, BBC are putting loads of matches (5-6 at a time) online with 2-4 on TV aswell (Including interactive). Sure, the drivel with Sue Barker and co. talking about the old days are boring - so I just dont watch that bit.

Where is Tim Henman on that poll
You'd have to watch BBC coverage every year to truly understand that

haha yeh there really was nothing like the crazy hype around Henman for a couple of days each June before he inevitably failed. My comment about Murray wasnt a serious one, just a joke at the way us brits jump and put huge hype on an player who is half decent.
If he stays injury free, I think Murray could do well over the next few years. Im just glad there isnt quite the same level of expectation as there was around Tiger Tim. |

Enjoy it while it lasts tom, as soon as Murray gets to the Semis, maybe even the Quarters, for that year and all years to come we will be told about how he will win Wimbledon

I'm keeping an eye on Richard Gasquet and Davydenko..
Gasquet got to the simi's last year and he can do it again!
Murray is so oveated and cocky(a bit like Cavendish) and really isn't that good, loads of ex-pros said he'll never win Wimbledon.I agree.
