Has last year..I like to be early to start this year transfer thread. My favorite speculation, fact and rumors subject.
And there is always nice to see how bad riders can hide theyr plan for future.
Lets get started..
Team Quick Step has signed the young Danish rider Thomas Vedel Kvist to the team beginning August 1 |

I'm sure most of them will wait a while - although the bigger names may start making contingency plans |

Don't forget Cofidis. As of now they have no sponsor for next year.
And Holczer said a while ago that if they can't find a sponsor before the Tour, they'll stop looking.

He knows that. he was answering someone (can't remember who) who posted above that High Road still needs to find a sponsor. Then that someone deleted his post for some reason.

Because the team is american. It's owned by High Road Sports, which is american.

It's still got a solid German influence... but when T-Mobile left Stapleton had to make the best move to get a top sponsor... and the dollars were probably a bit better in the US.
He's an American and he owns the team... and was looking for a US sponsor... so he moved their license from Germany to the US prior to this season. It will be interesting to see if the heavy German makeup of the team fades to that of other European countries, or if it continues. |
