Im not such a big fan of the new training system.. I really liked to see how much bonus each rider got out of training like in pcm06. Now I have to click on each rider to see his bonus. And you have to plan the season from day 1. It's not easy to know when you need the top riders and what form u need them to be in at a certain point. I often found out that if i had a good lead and did well in a stage race I could adjust the form of the rider, so that he could be in better form later in the season.
Is there any trick that could help in this matter? |

You can personalize the training for the rider if you like.. Normaly the training is set for the "tour de france 1" |

I think it's great. allows for full realism.
and the best part is that it's in no way guaranteed that a rider will be in top shape just because he and the team want to. before it was just stupid, you could get a rider at 100 form easily.

But it's not stated anywhere how hard you can train a rider. That's my main concern. And I have to play probably 5 seasons before I understand how it works. And that's alot of hours wasted No fun playing with main riders who has full fatigue and 50 form in TDF...
Otherwise, I think it's a great system. But I wish Cyanide made it easier to know how hard you can train. |

I agree about the lack of information about how the system is supposed to work (same goes for the new effort system).
The worse thing it seems to me is that you need to get it right at the beginning of the season which is hard when you don't know how it works!!! |

Well, I personally prefer it this way, it's not like real team managers know whether or not a rider will take a workload and become tired or not, so we shouldn't really know either

THe lack of information is almost total. First thing that we need to know is at what fitness levels the different traning levels (green - red) will plateau at. Secondly, how are they related to fatigue. |

Yeah but, as with all new systems, in depth understanding will come with time

Level 1 -?
Level 2 -63/64
Level 3 -68
Level 4 -72
Level 5 -75
Level 6 -80
That's how much I figured out yesterday.
But I agree it's hard to find a good way of training. |

Without being allowed to reveal too much, I can tell you that there will be improvements to this part in the first patch. |

i'm a fan of the training system, means my riders can concentrate more on the races i want without me having to think about it at the time. My top 10 riders have personal schedules and others a pre-set.
Realism is what this game is supposed to be about.

How did you do that? Did you pick a Giro or Vuelta schedule for the rider?
I have no problems with the training schedules, and when I make my own I make sure the rider doesnt peak more than two or three times or else he is going to be exhausted. |

On mine, Valverde peaks 4 times as shown here, i don't think it'll tire him out too much. (the 4th one is for World Champs, i'll be controlling GB, so i don't care about his form there)

Valverde and sponsors want both Tour de France and the Vuelta. The best way i'm going to do that is by Valverde i think.
(i also signed Petachi for sprints, that will be good for Caisse, they don't have a really strong Points rider)

I didn't bother making my own training schedules because I thought I'd be too aggressive with is and tire them out. Your's looks like a very tiring schedule doddy
