I have been a long-time fan of this game and last years game was a little buggy but has become my favorite game ever. This years release seems to be much more polished and stable but the lack of equipment is enough to keep me playing 07.
If there is an ability to add equipment please do so. One of the biggest parts of cycling is the sponsors, names and equipment so having it missing is difficult to deal with.
In the meantime I will continue my Slipstream career in 07 and hope the young riders I just scouted turn out to be true climbers!!!
08 will knock 07 off the mountain once I can buy a line up of Look frames and Gyro helmets  |

This already has a thread and as noted by me, it is possible, surely Dankan can get on it a release something in a few days. |

Before adding them to the database a graphics artist has to actually make the graphic file. I know Dankan is pretty good with graphics as well, but that definately won't take a few days

First the graphics artist must make the in-race graphical file, then the pre-race graphical file of the equipment and it's logo. Then the databaseur must link them all into the database and give them a price, rating etc.
It's a lot of work to take on

I think Cyanide will listen to this. It's probably the one thing they have been most critized for after the release, so we'll see. It won't be in the first patch, but who knows? Maybe in the 2nd.
That said, I really didn't think anyone cared about the equipment. |

Yes, they have. In fact, they have been working on it since the gold version was released to the beta testers (3-4 weeks). All bug reports after that couldn't be implented to the game, only to a forthcoming patch |

Don't get me wrong, I am really looking forward to playing this version but I am also an avid cyclist and being able to equip my team with their actual team kit is pretty important.
I am looking forward to seeing what the Devs pull together or if the fans pull through on this.
It is times like these that I wish I had the 3D knowledge and the time to do more acting that talking but unfortunately I am just yelling from the sideline on this request! |
