WorldDB 2017
Welcome to the WorldDB 2017, the follow-up to the highly successful WorldDB 2016, the PCM community's favourite Workshop database. This database was the first 2017 database available for Pro Cycling Manager 2016.
In this thread, you can find out everything you need to know about the WorldDB 2017. You can also suggest improvements or changes underneath.

Current Features
*2017 transfers and shirts.
*Real names, equipment names and statistics for all riders, both road and track.
*133 teams: 18 World Tour, 21 Pro Continental teams, 88 Continental and 6 U23.
*166 added races.
Will equipment be added in a future update?
No, we are not planning to add any equipment. Due to the restriction of the Steam Workshop, this is currently impossible.
Will a non-Steam download link be created?
No. All legal players have to go through Steam to play the game. If you desire to use your database, we insist you buy the official game.
Will the European Championships be added?
No, the Workshop restricts us from doing that.
Can I lend a hand in the creation of the WorldDB17?
Yes, we seriously need people to help so we can finish this perfectly. Just send me a private message or add Benji Naesen on Skype.
I'm not really amused you used so much work of others without crediting them for it. (I am deriving this from the list of added races of 2 february, which shows a large amount of races that has been made by stagemakers not in the list.
Furthermore, I'm curious why you added races that are no longer raced (Bayern, Zeeland Seaports (arguably ))

When I add a stage where I know who the creator is, I put the name of the creator in the name of the stage so that the variant name is for example called "trekbmc".
Sadly, I decided to work with stages from a database where there was no credit whatsoever to the creators. So I honestly don't know who actually made the stages.
If you find one of your stages, I'm obviously more than willing to put your name on it.
About the races that don't exist anymore. We try and put them in the database and deselect them from career mode.
We're actually going over the whole calendar throughout this week, coincidences So that should be taken care of next update.

BenjiNaesen didn't you make a mistake on Rafael Reis from Caja Rural? He has very low stats(overral 64 I think) for what he has been doing.
Apart that, I really appreciate your work, and I'm curious to see the changes you have done to the portuguese teams.
Also I don't know if you fixed this, but some days ago I was in Tour of Japan in career mode and there were only two teams: mine and Katusha.

That's not the way it works though. You release the work as if only the people in the credits list made it without acknowledging anyone else for it. You use someone else's work and release it in your own. That your source does not give the original creator does not mean that you are, in your own work, not responsible for it. Not the creators of your base, not the creators of the work, no it's you and your team. With a simple forum search, it should be easy to find out who made what.
Btw, if you used another DB as a base, why is that not in the credits?

This WorldDB17 has not used another DB as a base, all from beginning.
Never said we used a db as a base? I said we used stages from a database, it's not like they put any effort in taking stages, since they were also just taken from someone else.
And if that's not how it works in your eyes, then we're changing the damn rules.
I never released it in my own name, as you can see at all the "made by the community" slogans we used in the past stage releases.
"With a simple search". Ain't nobody got time for that, mate. Would be great if you shared a bit of that sweet time you use for writing comments here.
EDIT: If that's not how it works, why did PCMDaily Expansion Pack on PCM 13 use some of my work without credits. Hmmmm... this smells fishy.

U can just remove mod.xml and the .git folder. They don't do anything for the database. We have no real equipment.
