porto's president pinto da costa got a a 2-year suspension
boavista's president joão loureiro got a 4-year suspension
referee augusto duarte got a 6-year suspension
after boring years of researching, "apito dourado" looks like is coming to an end
finally with pinto da costa out, sporting can(and is going to) win the next year championship
also they removed 6 points to porto(the second place is 20 something pionts behind), so who the hell thinks that make any sense

he was suspended from making public statements for two years for being too agressive with the ones he makes. which is completely different from just "being suspended"

next time do a little research. this has nothing to do with apito dourado, which is still under trial

you're dreaming. you know damn well that's far from true. As usual, Benfica is getting all the hand-outs. despite referees testifying in court that they were given gifts by Benfica, Benfica wasn't even investigated.
typical.
Just yesterday, Djaló was suspended for celebrating a goal by looking at the fans, bringing his hands at head-height and going "nah-nah-nah" the way children do.
He was suspended, of course, because Benfica needs sporting to lose points.
Same thing every year, it's either a random accusation of corruption, random suspensions for no reason, or whichever else, always to try and de-stabilize the other teams so that Benfica will win.
As usual, it didn't work because benfica sucked
Typical.

Even though the official press release from the court states that it was proven that there was no corruption by Porto. How fair is that, eh?
Also, Boavista were relegated for corruption (which is quite obvious to anyone and everyone who ever watched one of their games the season they won the league. at the start of the second half you could be damn sure the opposition would be playing with 10 men), so you basically forgot the important part

you're right forget about depromotionops:
but the piont i was making about apito dourado is that if they can suspend major presidents, maybe apito dourado can move quickly too
if they can do one thing why not the other

im not worried about benfica, they can cheat all they want, they're to crappy
if they can make every cub in bwin liga come to the end with 0 points, they will have negative points
as porto should begin next season

Oh, Benfica the Boogeyman.
Do you know that Benfica is a single person?
Here it is:
And the gifts you talk about, it's official merchandising, a thing which costs 35€ and given by Benfica to all the referees. It is not necessary a big research, just google it, but the will to criticise Benfica is even bigger than the love for your own club.
Typical.

we've been over this before. you've said that two times before and always gave excuses whenever anyone asked you to back that up with a source...

I gave you 2 sources. And I will tell you another story that you should not know:
That "gifts threat" has been placed by the Naval's chairman, known by his involvement in manipulation of the referees along with Valentim Loureiro. Do you need more? I get you more...
The original charge became from João Bartolomeu, Leiria's chairman. Now look at this process and search for Leiria's name.
Curious, isn't it'

Again: source?
There is none, of course, because no one was expecting the referee to say that. he just randomly blurted it out in court in the middle of a statement.
Why do I even bother with this crap?

Source is not necessary is this sentence. It is just a verification of facts that every fair people know about this process.

So if I ask you for a source stating Maddie's parents didn't kill her you're also going to get me statements from them saying "we didn't kill her?"
Really, how are statements from the accused saying "we didn't commit the crime" any good?
Do you think I actually think Porto are clean? don't be foolish. no club is. not here, not anywhere. Just watch any Champions League game where a small team is outplaying a big team and it'll be immediately obvious.
Or do I have to pull up footage of that famous instance of the nigerian guy one-on-one with Casillas where the referee ends the game right there because if he scored, Real were out?
What I'm pissed at is that despite how obvious it is that they're as dirty as everyone else, most likely worse even, nothing is done against either Benfica or clubs in Madeira. It's like magically there are no investigations here.
And that discrepancy is what pisses me off big time. It's like a dopehead who wasn't caught pointing the finger at one who was and saying "he's what's wrong with cycling". It happens all the time and makes me very angry.

I'm not saying that Benfica is clean too, but I get mad when I look at this forums and I see: "Benfica this, Benfica that, Benfica is a bunch of corrupt people and our beloved club is not because Pinto da Costa is the sweetest person living at the Earth's surface".
I'm not talking about you directly, of course, but you all want to prove that Benfica buys referees, instead of doing some other things by others ways. And if the others clubs try to focus themselves in pointing the finger at something bad that Benfica really does, instead of the crap that we see in the TV every day, perhaps investigations would be raised.

Sure, I get that you're exaggerating to make a point, but it's not like anyone here is like that.

Investigations will never be raised.
You only have to compare statements to see the different treatments of different clubs. Vieira says the referee is corrupt live on TV. nothing happens to him.
Soares Franco says the referee "had an unfortunate performance" and he's suspended.
just one example among thousands.

Can I give a little counter-example?
Vieira raises a process against a referee. The league gaves him reason in the game, but nothing happened to the referee and Vieira had to pay a fine.ops:

Tri-campeões...
The rest is BS... No matter what, it will always be Porto vs Rest of Portugal... I really don't care about the so-called "suspension"... The fact that the former referee's analysis of the games wasn't taken into consideration by the league's disciplinary comitee really shows that FC Porto and Boavista were doomed from the beginning...
