I'm against horse racing mainly because all the credit goes to the jockey, rather than the horse
Plus it is cruel in some cases, but nowhere near as bad as greyhound racing, which is a horrendous sport

Why was the smiley inappropiate? It wasn't a smile, it was a shock / surprised-smiley. I really didn't think things like that happened at horse races.
About the news, they were in a free Danish newspaper today in a very short note. It's not like anyone cares about that kind of stuff here.
