Nuyens won't start, because of knee problems after Paris-Roubaix.
Pineau is in a good condition at the moment (keeping in mind he is just Pineau). |

Ah well, Pineau has a shot of top 5 if it's a slow race with not many attacks like 2005 (where he was 8th)
But I'm pretty sure it will be a very hard edition with many attacks. It will be dry and windy.
I rode parts of the route today (well 150 of 250) and it's very hard on the flat parts on the top (the plateau's) with the wind |

I sure hope so. Amstel 2006 was a brilliant race (mostly due to Wesemann's stupid attacks from way that forced everyone to react), but last year made me fall asleep (literally)

I think Valverde is going to win it, but Kirchen seems to be on some fine form at the moment and could win it.

Awesome
No idea who will win, but going to take a big risk, and say Thomas Dekker. |

go to www.amstelgoldrac... and click on Spectator to follow the race live.
it had never been used before in a race, all riders (except FDJ) have a small GPS system on their bike so we can see what they do
