With my Wisenhof story gone after just a week or two because of the release of the PCM Spain 08 DB, I have decided to go back to the first PCM game I bought, the original PCM, from 05 to start a story (before that it was just Cycling Manager). In a few minutes I will have a post of the team I choose, and a introduction to them, up on the website.

Unfortunately, the plan will have to be scraped. I still occasionally play 05 in single races, and it works, but for some reason it won't let me start a career, I tried to re-install it, but it is a no go. |

That sucks. Oh well. maybe you should find a way to start a new career. Or you could use the Titan 2005 db for pcm 07.

Maybe try and start a career, save all the screenshots and so on in a folder somewhere, and wait until you get past the 15th of february before you start making ANoTHeR story thread and wasting yet more space. That way you can actually see whether you're interested in actually writing a story, or just the attention.
And also when you then post the story it'll have more than just the Australian TT and RR champs...as much as i love THOSE events... over.... and over.... and over....
Just a thought...

rjc, I was going with Wisenhof story, by I decided to get the 08 DB, and had to delete it. I intended to start a story with the Mitsubishi team, which will hopefully run until the release of PCM 08 |

Before coming up with loads of ideas and posting them everywhere make sure something works. For instance, im in a the process of starting a story but im busy at the moment and i want to ensure that i will not have any problems when starting. However good luck when you do actually get into a story hope you get some decent reults. |

The policy ive been using is to wait posting until April or May. So far i still keep failing getting past March with something worth writing about.

I have found a way to resolve the issue, and am starting the career presently, I will however, hold off untill I reach February or March before I start posting. |

Mr. Bookmaker - 2005
Take a journey back to 2005, I am now the leader of Mr. Bookmaker, a Continental Tour team that is based on the northern classics.
Because of how old this game is, I can run it on the top graphics settings, with 1 TXT. PER RIDER on.
Here is the team, along with a list of the top riders in the game (note: if you wish to know the stats of any rider, reply and I will post a SS, they are really different, as in Andy Schleck's 63 mountain).
Here is the team:
Here are the top riders in the game:
I will be using the PPDB Giant DB, and here is the main menu:
So wish me luck
EDIT: Sorry about the red in the stats, I can't do anything about that

Le Tour de Langwaki:
With 10 stages, a ITT, a Mountain stage, and 8 flat stages, Stefan van Dijk and Jeremy Hunt will be looking for some victories.
Team: Jeremy Hunt, Stefan Van Dijk, Bobbie Traksel, Kurt Van der Wouwer, Ben Day, Laurent Paumier, Angel, Castresana, Frederic Gabriel
Stage 1:
A completely flat, 112.8 km stage, with two intermediate sprints.
Too begin, here is the interface of the game:
And, well, isn't one texture per rider great?
At the beginning, with Van Dijk a three star favorite, I sent three riders to the front.
An early break was brought in almost immediately, with barely an TV time for the breakaway:
After the two sprints, in which one was won by Van Dijk with Traksel 2nd, the sprint was set-up and began:
With half of a kilometer to go, Van Dijk had moved up, while Hunt had faded (sorry brits):
But a later move wasn't enough, and Van Dijk would come in 2nd, to newly crowned Aussie champions, Ceramica rider Graeme Brown (Brown is barely visible, look at the arch, and you will see a part of him):
The Newspaper the next day said it all:
However, with the 6 points gained by Van Dijk with the intermediate sprint, he took the sprinters jersey so something good came out of it. I ended up with two top 10's, Van Dijk 2nd, and Hunt 10th.
(Note: Mr. Bookmaker would later change its name to become the Unibet.com team)
Also, The graphics are much better looking in game, the resolution is lowered, because for some reason the SS's are bigger than the actual window (I play with a 800X600 window)
