My game crashes inexplicably, with no error reports, on the 17th of March 2007 while the game sims Exeter TT (which my teamate podiumed at). Any solutions?
I did not see any other threads so I thought I'd make a general problem thread.

Actually I was just about to post a thread about that same bug...
It happens to me to... Same day... Same stage...
It's too bad because it really is a good db...

It looks like the basic package of 500Mb misses a very few stages. In case you experience a crash at 17/3, then please download the missing stages here :

And here it crashes on May 7th simulating the "Zelenograd Ring" stage of the 5 rings of Moscow
Does anybody know the cause for this?

The stage has been wrongly named, you have to change it in the stage folder |

Nevermind, found the answer. it was an xml file whose name was wrong. The "Unlimited" package has this bug, but it's not mentioned in the release thread in any of the fixes. The solution was buried in a bunch of pages in the comments thread

@Levi: If it crashes when you are going from March 31 to April 1, you most likely need the DB repairkit to fix it.

read this thoroughly

and not just the first post either. you'll also need the files on the second post since your crash is in 2007

The .xml file for the stage is wrongly named. where it says "27" change it to "22"
