A new team has been founded
"I'm proud that I stand before you today, announcing the foundation of a revolutionary cycling team: the Dutch Development Project. We will start off as a Continental team, but we are aiming to bring Dutch cycling back to the very top of the cycling world!" Those were the words of team director Danny de Haas, announcing his newly founded team.
His aims are very high, but there's still a lot of work to do, before his team will be able to start racing. While he confirmed that he already signed some key riders, the team still needs to find some sponsors. De Haas' response: "I have been talking to two big Dutch companies. We might be riding under the flag of either a famous electronics brand or a big gambling brand. Both parties are extremely eager to work with us, so we expect to bring you guys the good news very soon."
The team has already signed two key riders. Both Barry Markus and Dylan van Baarle will be riding for the team this year.

Dutch Development Project announces equipment sponsors
The newly founded team of director De Haas will be riding Giant bikes in it's first year. Their helmets will be distributed by Giro and Shimano will deliver the group sets. The wheel brand haven't been announced yet.
Alongside the equipment sponsors, the team also revealed 5 additional signings: cyclocross world champion Wout van Aert signed a contract for 2 years. The signings of Koen Bouwman, Louis Vervaeke, Timo Roosen and Steven Lammertink have been confirmed by team director De Haas as well.

Who doesn't want van der Poel?
This looks like my own career mode with Aegon where I had Barry Markus and Louis Vervaeke!
Good luck!

Main sponsor announced: Philips Continental Team
The main sponsor for the Dutch Development Project has been revealed. Team director De Haas presented Philips as the main sponsor for the new season. The tech company signed a one-year contract.
ZLM and Coolblue have been announced as the secondary partners. Both have signed a contract for 2 years. Furthermore, Shimano has been revealed as wheel brand.
The team also showed its new kit for the upcoming season. The kit sponsor will be 54 Cycling Wear, the personal brand of team director De Haas. The blue color, resembling the style of the Philips logo, together with the washout of the Philips sign, will surely stand out in the peloton.

That would sound boring actually. On the road it's ok, but it'll be like Froome and Quintana in the same team in the cyclocross season. Whoever attacks first, wins. For reasons of realism, you can't really add vdP after you have Van Aert.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
